The trailer made it sound like he was really pissed off at their group, and the last line, "I remember everything" seemed like there was going to be some huge vengence plot. The first movie was about him running away, the second was realizing he couldn't escape his past and having to confront it, and I guess this one will probably be tearing down the house that Bourne built.

I loved the first two movies, can't wait for this one.

Well, I think it's completely obvious why it's called The Bourne Ultimatum. The first one was Identity and it involved finding out who he was. The second one being Supremacy since it basically involved him owning the shit out of the people that made him who he was. This one being Ultimatum obviously means, Bourne is giving them an ultimatum, as in "this ends now or else".

I realize it's a fairly obvious conception and that may not have even been what you were talking about and if so, please...just disregard it.

Ben Aflect actually did a fairly good job in that Hollywoodland movie, where he played George Reeves or w/e, the actor who played Superman.

He just makes terrible movie choices and has turned into a big joke.

actually one of the biggest reasons i was looking forward to the second bourne movie and this one was how different they are from the book

the movies are branching off with different (and interesting enough) plots yet retaining the same overall mood you get from reading the books, and it's hella exciting to see the parallels and differences

and damon may not be a great actor, but he's the most convincing jason bourne i can imagine, and that's good enough for me

Yea I love Damon too, he is a great actor/screen writer.

I don't think Afflek is necessarily a bad actor, he just acts in horrible movies. He is great in Good Will Hunting

Is it just me, or is this year loaded with the third film of a series? Bourne Ultimatum, Spiderman 3, Ocean's Thirteen, Pirates of the Caribbean...there's a few more I think.

not really what i was questioning but i understand where you are coming from. i just think that since the movies follow such a completely different story compared to the novels that they should come up with their own bourne titles since they are creating their own bourne storyline.

i was actually insulted when i saw bourne supremecy because they didnt even attempt to recreate anything from the supremecy book which had a story about 400 times better than the shit pile of a movie.
