Xavier is right, Jason Bourne does shit perfectly, if you read the books you should know this. The few times he thought he made mistakes they turn out benefiting him in the end. Although Jason Bourne wasn't only very trained but also driven at first by vengance and then by love. Gotta read the books

Seriously, the movies really really suck when compared to the books. Not even exaggerating here, but seriously pick up the first book and if you aren't hooked by the 4th Chapter you have a mental problem or something. They are TOTALLY different from the movies. Honestly, I don't see why they didn't just make the movies more parallel to the books, because even watching the director's cut he admits that the books are very different and a much more powerful story, but his reason for not using them is weak. "Technology has advanced so much that we need to update the Bourne Story". Uhm no dumbass, you need to just make your film take place in the time the story took place and end up with a fucking kickass movie.

In short, go get the fucking books and read them. If you're creaming jeans over these trailers of these movies, then you'll cream jeans at the end of every chapter of the Bourne books, all the way until the end, I guarantee it.

Sweet! I got my first one at a Library book sale they were selling books in my small home town at the library for like 50 cents a book so I picked it up after my mom recommended it (about 3 years before the first movie came out). I didn't actually read the book until after seeing the first movie and after reading the book I was like, wow books > movie. But ya, find some softcover copy of the book at a bookstore or something and PM me after reading the first few chapters, or bump this thread :D

Will do. I'll ask the fiance if she can find this at the library or something for me. When I start a book and I like it I usually will finish it within 2 or 3 days, foregoing any video games or TV.

I've read the books at least three times. Thats why i dont like the movies so much. But it is a different bourne story so I enjoy them.
