I don't know if it's true, but I heard that Hasso acts like haste in the fact that it doesn't lower TP gain per hit like other Dual Wield and Martial Arts.

My SAM is Lv1, so I don't know shit.

10% Weapon haste, no loss in TP gain.

Hasso acts as haste simply with respect to your weapon delay, it's a 10% reduction with no change in TP gain. It also is not factored into the 25% cap on gear. I am not as sure about how it effects spell cap but I'd guess not at all.

But Haste in FFXI also lowers recast of spells, which Hasso does not do. And actually casting a spell with hasso up doubles the recast time on the spell.

i think it would make more sense to categorize it similar to dual wield enhancements. you don't have to figure in the attack speed gain from sup earring when figuring your melee haste cap, do you? i'd imagine it affects it in the same way.

Dual Wield bonuses effect TP gain though, which is kind of a big difference.

The way I described it is correct. Although if someone wants to come up with better semantics, go for it.

What about Haste Belt? its independent of Gear and Spell but does it cap if you have 50% already?

Haste belt (Enchanted one) Doesn't count towards cap. Upon usage gives you the haste icon, but it's possible to still have the haste spell cast upon you so you have two haste icons.

Speaking of which, I want to see a screenshot with 3 Haste icons on the same person at the same time. (Without DAT editing)

Anyone know the third way to get haste icon? ;o

The only other form of Haste I can think of is from Garuda and that doesn't stack with WHM/RDM haste.

The answer would be Haste, Haste Belt, and the Haste bonus you get in Nyzul Isle.
