Promyvion NMs

Cerebrator, Covetor, Satiator. They drop Rare/Ex items for Promyvion Maps, and also a drop that is used to pop an NM in Promyvion-Vazhl that drops Hamayumi, Dia Wand, Stone Gorget.

My questions are: What are the drop rates on the Map items, and the pop items? I heard 100% pop items, and multiple map items drop at the same time, but I'm not sure.

Also, how hard are they/what party setup would be recommended? For the first three crag Promyvions, I thought it would be possible to just go with a few SMN and just astral flow it, but I guess the NM is tougher than I thought. And how hard are the Promyvion-Vazhl versions? Just hoping someone might know anything about all of this, it is sort of rare to find anyone who does.

Regarding the Lv30 Promy NMs... The pop items are 100% I think, and 0-3 memospheres can drop with them, iirc. They're about as hard as the ENM bosses. My preferred setup for the ENMs and these NMs is WAR/NIN WAR/NIN RNG/NIN RNG/NIN WHM/BLM BLM/WHM. The WAR's would alternate kiting the NM and meleeing enough to keep hate off of the RNG's. Bring the appropriate meds for the mob type (poison pots, holy waters, antidotes, etc.) and yagudo drinks. Wide Scan helps locate the NM so you can go to the right floor.

I never got around to fighting the Vahzl NM's though. See the thread I linked to for people you can ask about them.

Can also get the map items from the regular area specific mobs (craver, gorger, that other thing from Holla), but the drop rate is about as good as coffer keys. Spamming ENMs back in the day we got a few maps killing the 1st floor ones while waiting on slow ass people.

The level 30 NMs are nice, the Vahzl NMs are not, Bow I saw is around 70%~ drop, Dia wand I'm unsure, only did one pop of that. Stone Gorget drop rate is low, did 3 pops and not a single drop but I think we got a few map items, enough for all 6 of us and them some.

Pld is fine for all but the Stone Gorget NM, Nin is needed for that one, it attacks slow but too hard, your Pld and Rdm or Whm will run out of MP too soon.

Did PLD tank on that with 5 people, Needed 2hr, but doable. A few more people and we'd have been fine too.

NIN is definatly better, I'm mostly responding to "Needed"

Can I ask what setup you had and gear? The Pld in my group was skilled with good gear, but maybe we just got unlucky.
