Ah, i remmeber this group. I saw them in YouTube. However, why are people shocked on their behaviour? As i know, Americans loooove attention, and fame. Many (not all) people living in the U.S would do the craziest things and create their own character in their mind just for some attention. American Media is such a powerful, manupulating weapon, i'm really in love with it myself, I think its because it gives the impression that everyone has a chance...a HUGE chance (I want to study media, since it has such a great impact on people)
All those Reality Shows, Mardi Gras, emo kids, having many many girls dreaming of playboy, just for the fame (the list goes on). I remember once that was all shameful things to do, but over time, i dont know how, and why, those habits became a potential goal to achieve.
Those idiots want attention, and fame. They are getting it as we can see. Not in a positive way, however. I'm shocked they are not dead or arrested yet.

Attention seeking is hardly an American trait, but the 24-hour news cycle does make it fairly easy for attention seekers since there are 23 hours of non-news to fill up. (That one hour of actual News being Countdown with Keith Olbermann.)

What is unique about the WBC is that most people don't go out of their way to be hated like thy do. People on the Real World, American Idol, Wife Swap, Super Nanny, or any other random reality show while annoying, for the most part don't try to be America's next target of collective ire. Even a dim-bulb walking STD factory like Paris Hilton (incorrectly) thinks that people wouldn't throw her into a rocket to explore the surface of the sun.
