That was a good read. I had to force myself to read the entire thing before reading the rest of the thread (only read the OP).

I've gone in caves and storm drains and experienced a lot of craziness in complete darkness. I've been in that sort of darkness and it creeps the hell out of you. I'll tell you, things can get freaky when you are in absence of light then you hear someone else (who isn't with you) far ahead. That only really happens in storm drains where you hear the echo and not so much in caves, but your imagination really runs wild.

While reading it, I thought it was real and most of the things they saw would be attributible to imagination and psychology, but when he started getting the smells and the rope being dragged in, I figured it was fake.

Before reading the rest of this thread, I thought it was people who did caving and took some pictures then decided to juice up their story for fun.
