I could have sworn everytime you beat a "fifth floor" you get the equivalent to a new assault mission complete (aka 5 points). Am I wrong?Originally Posted by Viq
I thought the same as well, at least for new floors. repeating a farm run for example would only get you 1 point for the 5. Or maybe its not like that at all :s
No, you get 5 points for the first time you get anything done in nyzul isle and exit successfully, even if you just beat floor 1 than exit. You get one point there after for every further successful exit, no matter how many floors are completed. It should work differently than this, but it doesn't.Originally Posted by sleekmotorwurkz
Ah ok, my static hasnt devoted much time to nyzul yet and im only on floor 6 so ive gotten the 5 and a few 1's afterwards. I thought I remember seeing somewhere that every new 5 level save was like completing a new assault. Well thats kinda sucky. Oh well.
Or the reunification is just to release the avatar from the buildings and it goes back to the way it was.Originally Posted by Kaylia
Well, don't forget that in this game, you can avoid fighting Promethia and the Zilart Prince for years, despite the fact you see cutscenes showing the end of the world is imminent if they aren't defeated immediately. Apocalypse Nigh was a great boost to actually finishing ZM17 and saving Vanadiel![]()
every time I saw those cutscenes, I figure that the world has already been saved by some JP
I tried getting a group together for months to do ZM 17 starting the day I finished Divine Might. No one cared until Apocalypse Nigh was released. ;_;Originally Posted by Toth
Anyone got any ideas on what kinda HNMs they are adding?
OK, let me look into my crystal ball here...Originally Posted by Coldplay4tw
It is going to have annoying TP moves, and build resistance to stun. It will drop crafting items that are used for synths for armor that are pretty much the same as existing armors with only the most minuscule of improvements. Maybe it will have a weapon or two, but the drop rate is going to be ridiculously low.
I have seen the future, and it is the same as the past.

Well, let's see. Alexander is a Celestial Avatar.Originally Posted by Septimus
As we've seen with the others, they don't need to be "active" to have their Prime forms called upon.
My guess is we'll see Rafhzad do something with the Gordius to reactivate Alexander's presence within the ruins, and we'll fight a BC-style mission in Nyzul Isle (think of the previous Periquia mission where an Assault area is used for a story mission) at the Astral Plinith located there. It's entirely possible to arrange a BC there to fight Alexander Prime (or whatever form it ends up taking).
That wouldnt happen to be like a certain HNM I camp alot would it? It couldnt possibly be...Originally Posted by Septimus
Well, I don't think we'll be fighting anything too big, since there isn't a Battlefield in the .dats to support it.
The thing will battlefields is that they don't need to be independent zones to support them.Originally Posted by BRP
Cases in point:
Hut Door in Ghelsba Outpost
Ix'zdei Room in the Garden of Ru'Hmet
All you need is a small room with a door that leads to an enclosure where you fight whatever. A good example would be the floor on which the Nyzul Isle Plinith is located, or even the islands associated with the Engraved Tablets found in various zones.
