    The only problem with most of the Einherjar is that some of them are laaaaaaaaaaaaame. I remember I ended up making a party of Kraad (Heavy fighter), Roland (Heavy Fighter), and Xehnon (mage) and they were all played by fucking Johnny Young Bosch. Fight after fight it's the same saying over and over again and it was way too much Johnny for my liking. I ended up settling for Kraad because until I got Arngrim back in Chapter 5 he was the coolest Heavy Fighter for me. As for Lwyn, she was the only Light Warrior who didn't have a crappy stance (like Celes, etc) and I liked her voice.

    Arngrim is the only character who was able to travel and get to know all three Valkyries. He's a pimp.

    And I think everyone that used Alicia was pretty much caught in the "main character syndrome." And most times, SE buffs up the main character to make them more attractive to use.

    I will admit I enjoy Alicia's thunder thighs way too much. Reminds me so much of Prier from La Pucelle Tactics.

    Lol, that must have really sucked, those cutscenes were the most shocking and awesome ones for me. I can honestly say I did not see it coming.

    You're right, finding Einherjar you like is a fucking challenge in itself. It also doesn't help that Einherjar items are random. Phyress is one you should use regardless, she's just way to powerful for when you get her, and she comes with some of the best archer moves as her starters (she also has a cute voice). I think I also used Slyphied (sp) as one of my Light Warriors because she starts with Free Item, which makes her useful if you fucked up and didn't keep the materials to make it. Zunde(I think) and Kraad are also some of the best Heavy Fighters you get, and Xehnon is one of the best mages (even though mages suck).

    Just from that I would use Alicia, Phyress, (Light Warrior I like) and Rufus. Of course, after that the only characters you need are Hrist and Freya, Valkyrie is lovely to have, and someone you like extra (ARNGRIM!)

    Alicia wasn't that strong, or useful (Free Item > Healing). But I still liked her and used her, she also had the most skills because I never removed her from my party. And yes, Arngrim is a pimp, but he always has been :D

    Rofl, I loved the dog house cutscenes in SG, those were amazing.

    Re: Any love for Valkyrie Profile?

    Anyone else think that Adonis' (the einherjar) battle stance was like the elvaan greatsword battle stance in FFXI? I found it was a strange resemblance, but since it's SE, they could reuse character models and shit like that.

    There was quite a few sembelences I remember. Mostly in FFXII though, VP2 was made by Tri-Ace/Enix side of SE. So I doubt there is as much influence as you think.

    Maybe it's a real battle stance used by people holding oversized swords, and both character artists thought it looked pretty cool.

    I doubt any normal person would fight with a 600lbs stick of steel unless they were Hulk Hogan, and everybody knows he hates video games and prefers doing crappy movies instead.

    I said a big sword, not an impossibly big sword. There are ways to use a sword longer than your own height, just not three times longer.

    Re: Any love for Valkyrie Profile?

    lets see alicia is not that gimp her attacks where like only to break guard and didnt spend much of your bar, alicia as a ligth warrior is kinda strong since she can execute some aerial,ground break moves moves but yeah when you get:
    ::spoilers::
    Valkyrie, Freya and bram lol i used all my str dex on alicia just to make her broken enough, now at lv 85 she can solo like a rdm meanwhile i have my other 3 characters healing from a 1 shot death, nit hell why did they gave freya a 10 fold attack that spends 40energy bar and gets 100 tp alone and wel lets not talk about valkyrie i think rufus with the second special move and valkyrie are the only ones who can get 100 tp on 3 special(starts 40tp if i am correct) to finish the fourth.

    now silmeria sucks....she is an archer lol you have way better archers at that point like the brown skinned chick(dont remember name)
    hrist is a 2 handed bitch not bad with spear but i still preffer the old Nibelum Valesty with sword and lenneth.....well fuck she is suppose to be "Lenneth the creator" already she is gimp lol
    and i want a hrist game now we have VP lenneth(vp1 for psp) and we have VP silmeria for ps2(vp2).
    ::spoilers off::

    and for those ff12....you know vaan is damn usefull as main character even if he looks gay i mean just use the MP with the mist ability and put him berserk with a 1 handed weapon(axe or sword with high base dmg, if you have better zodiac spear[2h]) and haste and well he does pretty well dmg just with another buddy with the same buff and one mage(fran in my case) spamming curaja or curag everything dies sooo fast that damn adamantoise(gil snapper) took me 10 min to kill at lv35(fran and vaan) others lv26, what i liked about ff12 is you can make a character everything lol you can nuke/heal/meele same time doing all good.
