He's not bad, probably the 3rd best QB in the draft. Decent arm played in a "pro style" offense. Although he didn't exactly play against the toughest competition in the MWC. He played great against Oregon in their bowl game (375 yards 2 touchdowns).

dallas netting clevelands first rounder next year is absolutely huge. Joe thomas and brady quinn are great building blocks but that defense is atrocious and they play in a tough division. dallas locked up a potential top 5 pick for next year for basically a third and fifth round this year.

Eagles made a ridiculous choice.... Kolb with their first pick. He wasn't even the best QB available there, i just don't get it.

We have McNabb, he will be around for like 5 more years.. and we have Feely a proven backup.. and Holcomb D: Such a wasted pick, i wanted Houston or heck Leanord.

Atleast we did get our big back in Tony Hunt. Him and Westbrook are going to be amazing.

Eagles taking who they did was.. interesting to say the least. Few other odd choices taken today, but overall, bleh. I liked Indy taking Anthony Gonzalez and the Saints taking Meachem.. wow, should be an interesting WR core.

I kinda thought for a while they'd pick up Greg Olsen, but I think they drafted Jeff King last year and they've already got some depth there. So meh.

Jon Beason I'm happy with. The only thing I'm worried about is that there's a possibility he's injury prone, (shoulder separation, knee ligament tear and not-such-a-big-deal sprained thumb) and even though I hate to say it, I'm worried he'll get hurt in Carolina, lol.

Ryan Kalil is a promising center. He needs to put on a bit of weight, is all.

I'm kind of curious about Dewayne Jarrett. With the right discipline he could be a really, really good player.

And to be honest I don't know much about Charles Johnson.


What I'm really really hoping for is that the players are just able to stay healthy throughout the year, and that Delhomme gets his shit together early, or fucks up soon enough to give Carr a shot. Kind of looking forward to that because his completion percentage is getting better year to year (except for 2004-2005.)

Maybe in the 4-7 rounds they'll pick up a couple more people to add depth to the craptastic offensive line they have.

I actually want to see Delhomme get put on the bench so David Carr can get a shot. Just think about it. He'd wonder what the fuck was going on if he actually had pass protection.. considering what he's used to. "Hello getting sacked 70+ times in 2 separate seasons." Now granted he was only sacked 41 times last year, he's still been sacked way too much. He's been sacked 249 times in his 5 year career and only missed 4 games. It's quite sad. So either way, I'll be happy to see him behind a line that MIGHT be able to give him longer than a second to throw the ball. Who knows, he might actually be really, really good.

I'd like to see Jake Delhomme benched period. He's nowhere near as good as he use to be. Seems every year he keeps getting shittier and shittier. Not to mention hes a fucking commercial whore in the Carolinas.


I'm pretty fucking excited about Panthers picking up Dwayne Jarret if they train him right we could have an insane WR team with him Smith and Keyshawn.

The Eagles are still one of the top 2 teams in the NFC and felt that no one else who was available at that spot could help the team. A lot of people had Kolb rated higher than Quinn, so it wasn't that much of a reach. But i still would have preferred Chris Houston.
