Too hot to get married to that retarded frenchie.![]()
And to be on topic, not being critical of Lebron, I just think that his mistakes in the 4th quarter were ridiculous for a star that is supposed to be very big. And it's a fact that he was basically the only player the Cavs actually COULD count on, and it doesn't seem like he can carry a team to a championship quite yet.
Regardless, the simple passes that were slipping between his hands in the last 5~ minutes were just frustrating. When the Cavs were in the lead in the 4th I actually thought that they had a slight chance of winning it, and then they just take stupid jumps (Lebron did too..) that kept missing over and over, to the point where the Spurs were up by 8 again.
I mean seriously, take a fucking time out. >.>
Oh, not to talk about the last 3-4 minutes of the game where the Spurs missed like 3 throws in a row, the Cavs caught the rebound, but for some ungodly reason it somehow ended up back in the Spurs' hands and wasted a good 2-3 minutes.
Now there's a legitimate reason to say the spurs-suns series was fixed...us suns fans said the games were fixed the whole time and noone believed us. WE TOLD YOU AMERICA, WE TOLD YOU!
Game 3, Tim Donaghy was officiating and the suns lost. It all makes sense now!
Oh my gahd. I couldn't have been more right in this thread.![]()
This has all the excitement of a BG drama thread. Can't wait to see how this turns out. I'm sure people are pouring over his games right now to compile video evidence.![]()
anyone who believed the suns-spurs game wasn't fixed is retarded, on crack, or a combination of both. Nash was getting buttwaped by Bowen, constantly getting fouled, and was never getting a call. Cue the little kid screaming "That's racist."
I'll keep it short and sweet. I agree. It was fixed. That's sad. Rawr.
I agree. Death to Tony Parker!
cry moar suns fans
"The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Tuesday the team has acquired forwards Al Jefferson, Gerald Green and Ryan Gomes, guard Sebastian Telfair and center Theo Ratliff, along with two first-round draft picks and cash considerations from the Boston Celtics in exchange for forward Kevin Garnett. The Timberwolves will receive Boston's 2009 first-round selection and Minnesota will get back the first-round draft pick the team traded to the Celtics in a January 2006 trade. "
Thoughts?
Personally I think it makes em strong enough to conquer the east. But still barely on par with the tops of the west, due to salary. They're all older so IF they don't win it this year it'll only get worse and worse. But together the three of em are 54 million in salary. So how about the rest of the 10-12 players, they're all gonna be crap...
Hope for some good ball this year, and a decent finals. Even though most people probably lost interest past couple years ._.a
They'll beat anyteam in the east easily. If they get a decent PG and a good lowpost defender/hustler I can see them beating any team in the NBA easily.
They'll probably win 45-50 games this year, and make a real run to the finals the season after next if they can find decent role players.
Celtics have a lot of money, and are very likely to dip their toes into that Luxury Tax area. Danny Ainge claims there are more moves in the near future that they plan to make, so those of us in the Boston area are pretty excited about the Green this year. Hell, the Sox just got Gagne and it barely got mentioned during all the KG talk.Originally Posted by Iono

On the note about Gagne, I watched it. That was pretty awesome, but the Braves came out pretty damn well with Dotel, Teixeira, and whoever that other LH P was.
Celtics should do well in the wnba errr eastern conference pretty easily. KG deserves it at least. Ainge pretty much sold out the Celts future for KG and Allen. Celts still got Rondo though.
Don't forget Big Baby 8) Sure, he's going to get about 5 minutes a game if he's lucky, but he's Big Baby!Originally Posted by Yangsing
It's hard to ever say you "overpay" for a player like Garnett, but it seems like the Celtics did...It wasn't a bad move to get Garnett, but they threw away 3 decent young players and two future first round picks for Garnett who has been (maybe it's just mental) declining in his game. But they do seriously need a good PG now...I say get Marbury.
oh man I wish the celtics would take marbury off ours hands. They could never afford to pay 4 players more than the whole bobcats roster though, and Isaiah would never give up his lover... and the celtics have next to nothing in trade bait, lol....
