I don't think there's an absolute answer, it depends on the party.

In a 2 BRD party where everyone is eating meat and has capped or very nearly capped pDIF, Swordbelt +1 isn't doing crap. In a typical 1 BRD party where a NIN's eating sushi and getting 1 Minuet, it's pretty much the same deal as Tekko+1 vs O. Kote. The Swordbelt +1 is probably slightly better in that situation, but the question comes in whether it's worth the inv-1 if you're carrying a Warwolf anyway (I macro it in along with other +Enmity for Provoke to make it more likely that I *will* turn a mob if I have to, for example).

In an ideal world, with inventory space permitting, it's probably worth making 2 or 3 separate Jin gear macros, one with a STR bias for extreme-Att situations, one with an Att bias for relatively low-Att situations, and one with an Acc bias for times when you're getting frustratingly frequent missed hits and dumping on a ton of Acc is going to do more to stabilize your WS average than adding STR or Att.

Edit (only because I don't want to make another post to list WS gear that's virtually identical to everyone else's): I advocate the 2-3 separate Jin gear macros because I do that myself, and I've been very happy with the results. At present, I only functionally use 2 (a STR/Att blend and an Acc-heavy setup) because while my TP gear is nearly finished (only luxury item and Usukane upgrades remain), my WS gear is still lacking many pieces due to a combination of not being a 1st job NIN (my NIN is better than my RDM these days though, heh) and just incredibly bad luck.

The eventual goal is Shura Head->Usukane Somen, Minuet Earring->Fenrir/Merman's Earring, AF+1/AF2->BKote, Warwolf Belt->Swordbelt +1 as the main differences between the STR and Att sets. I'll hopefully be the first in my Salvage group to get the Sune-Ate as well, though I don't think I'd use them in an Att-based WS set over Rutter Sabatons except when my Acc is a little shaky.

I didn't have any trouble soloing Blaggers as NIN/THF. Evasion gear + subtle blow merits work wonders. I camped a single pop, kept Reraise 1 up full time (just in case), and ate meat to limit the mob TP. You'll miss like crazy against the blaggers with no sushi, but it ups your survival chances significantly.

As for WS setup, mine changes quite a bit depending on camp, food, BRD presence...

    Senj
    Unji
Bomb Core (for now... eyeing the bomblet as it's currently crashing)
Pahluwan Qalansuwa / Voyager Sallet (still no D Head cuz I work while my LS does sky)
    Breeze Gorget
    Haubergeon / Osode
    Okote / Tekko +1
    Brutal Earring
    Fenrir's Earring / Ethereal Earring
    Flame Ring
    Rajas Ring
    Cerb Mantle
    Warwolf Belt
    Byakko's Haidate
    Rutter Sabatons

If I get minuet, I start by swapping over from okote to tekko +1. If ACC is sufficient I'll move my head piece to V. Sallet, and if ACC is really high (and I'm still getting minuet) I'll move over to Osode.

It's situational. If your pDIF is high, then you'll probably get more mileage out of Tekko +1. If your pDIF is sufficiently low, okote / bkote are the clear winners.

I'm not hume, but I would expect it's a similar answer to what I just stated about okote vs. tekko +1.

You're not really going to learn anything from a "legit parse" as you've asked to see. It's all about balancing your pDIF with your base damage. The best balance yields the best results. Since pDIF and fSTR are influenced by mob selection and external buffs / food, there's no single answer.

As said in other peoples' posts and opinions of other ninjas I've talked to, 12 stats or 20 attack parse pretty closely. With this in mind, I don't think 10 stats, or 12 attack should be as hard of a choice.

Personally, I use ochiudos for WS because I have no katana merits.

Honestly I WS in almost full accuracy, even if I swap more then 3-4 peices I will notice the accuracy diffrence alot.
    WS:
    Optical Hat
    Breeze Gorget
    Brutal Earring
    Bushinomimi (lolz)
    Haubergeon
Pallas Bracelets (Sold my Okotes yesterday for Dusk so I could /drk)
    Jaeger Ring
    Rajas Ring
    Amemet Mantle+1
    Life Belt
    Pahluwan purple pants
    Rutter Sabatons

Even with gorget and overwhelming accuracy I honestly don't like my WS acc...but I also only exp in Birds/Mamools/Trolls (never done mire on Nin)
Eventually I'll get a Potent and rebuy Okotes, maybe a Shura Head. Thats with 4 merits btw

i go with the following, switching only hands during night:

main / off: senj / fudo
    ammo: fire bomblet
    head: shura
    neck: Breeze Gorget
    ear1: minuet
    ear2; brutal
    body: hauby+1
    hands: nin.tekko+1 / koga tekko
    ring1: sniper's+1
    ring2: flame
    back: cerberus mantle
    waist: warwolf
    legs: byakko
    feet: rutter sabatons

avg. about ~600 on colibri in a 1-2h party generally w/minIV

On multi-hit WS, you're better off keeping PCC on for WS than Gorget, you'll see more benefit from Gorget on single hit WS - right? Trying to remember the results from Nagamaki's test.

You won't see a damage bonus for attacks beyond the first, but the accuracy component of the gorget boost isn't clear whether it is also only on the first. I believe the accuracy bonus is active on all hits.

everyone uses pretty much the same thing cept for a few minor differences.
denali gamashes pretty sweet for WS option for feet imo, didnt see if anyone mentioned them.

im always hanging around 400ish attack with Ws gear and tp gear on. (with no songs/berserk up) i have capped katana and all that jazz, but im wondering what other people are at during WS and such.
