Who plays WoW?

If I wasn't sick of MMORPGs, I'd probably switch to WoW since a lot of my friends have. It just seems a lot better for when you have less time to play. Seeking party for 3-5 hours on FFXI =/= fun.

I was in the same boat, but when I played WoW and could like, do stuff, feel like I accomplished something, and then log off in 2 hours I was pretty satisfied. I don't play WoW as nearly as much as I played FFXI and I have fun whenever I log on pretty much.

Unless I'm losing in WSG Alliance runs WSG in our BG. They have like 4 premade teams.


( WSG is a PvP battleground that plays like capture the flag. A premade is a group of people that level jobs to a certain cap range for the BG and play together using vent and such vice queue up into a random group of people. )

It's fair to say that this thread can be a WoW-based discussion for people who frequent these boards, but comparing Game X and Game Y here is retarded. =\ There isn't even anything we can call a horse anymore.

Can I at least laugh at him because he's been playing since January and is at level 54? I mean christ, I can do 1-60 in two weeks and that's playing casually. You can do 1-70 in a month and that's if you're stoned through most of it. It makes me sad to see people not only come to a ffxi forum to talk about wow (when there's already a BG wow forum) and that they can't even level that well.... I won't beat the dead horse about game comparisons, but I can still point and laugh.

Some people dont level that fast, and if it's his first character thats even more understandable. It takes a bit to level to max your first time through because you dont know the zones, the quests and the instances well. After your first time though it takes like 2weeks or less.

I played WoW for a bit in December, only got to a 30 rogue. I spent a lot of time at 29 PvPing for some gear there. I played on a PvP server (in fact the one BG split off to) but only ever found retarded guilds to join. Just like in FFXI, if I had a few friends I'd probably play the game all the time. But since I only found retards on the server for the most part it wasn't that fun.

My brother started playing WoW a couple months ago, I could probably use his account and make a character again but haven't yet, still stay on FFXI anyway. If someone is interested in starting up a new static/guild for some fun I'd be game. I played originally on a PvP server, ganking was lame but as a rogue it was fun to hunt a druid a couple levels higher than me and own them as they were fighting a mob. Was my first PvP "fight".

I play WoW as a 70 Undead Rogue on Laughing Skull (EU). In a Karazhan raiding guild atm, which is kinda topsy-turvy, lost a few members recently.

Played it for 2 months, got huntard to 70, 375 Ench and LW. Then got mage to 50 and decided the game was crap. Raiding just didn't do it for me. Although BG's we're good fun.

Tempted to try LoTR but gonna stick to BF2 for now.

You're absolutely retarded. I'm not going to point out there's no timeline from what I did when I started playing, and when I started actually leveling that character. Much less how often I actually play.
