    Just for information:

My setup is PLD WAR RDM. Strat is simple: zerg until 50%, sleep, rest to full, zerg the remaining 50%.

I couldn't hold hate the whole fight, so the Killer effect couldn't help at the end, but it was worth it overall.

The Killer effect can trigger on every hit, ie at the beginning, when he can hit you 4-5times in a row, Fe'e can be intimidated on 1-2 of these hits. It won't intimidate him a "full round".

On a full fight, Fe'e is intimidated around 15times in average, more than 10times everytime.

No clue if it stops TP moves (I don't think so, but couldnt try it enough to be sure), but when every hit hits your for 100+ dmg on PLD, you're glad when it triggers.
I'm disappointed now that I didn't get that kind of mileage out of mine when I went blm.
I feel like I'm playing the captain obvious card here, but if you were on BLM, then you probably weren't the one with hate most of the time. I'm pretty sure these only proc when you are the one he's beating the shit out of. (I thought that was how ALL killer traits worked...)

If you were also on blm it was probably slept and not attacking you cause it would kill a blm without much effort.

That's not true, it will intimidate him a full round, but none of his rounds are 4-5 hits. He can't do more than a double attack. He just hits very fast, it's quite simple.

Bibiki Seashell is amazing for the first bit. I do this as NIN RDM BRD and have never had a problem with it, we just mambo x2 and Haste at the start and I'm good until 2 tentacles break. Then March/Minuet seems to be the way to go.

He hits for about 40-60 on me at the start, then as each tentacle breaks it seems to shoot up a little. Before the last tentacle breaks up he can hit for ~350-400 on NIN. At that point I just kite and the RDM nukes with gravity on.

    Can't comment on BLU/THF though.

there was a discussion about intimidation and tp moves around a while ago (search for it if you're interested) and i think the conclusion was TP moves don't intimidate. ever. a good way to see would be have you ever had a TP move intimidated on graiton. as for the proc rate, yeah. if you don't have hate, you can't intimidate. ask a bst ^^. on blm it's probably not much help, but on your pld, it's going to be gold. since he relies on a large volume of relatively weaker hits, this should reduce the randomness of it too, since you have a bigger sample every run.

I've done it a couple of times, but always either BLM BLM duo or BLM BLM RDM. As others have said, it can be slept, but it will begin resisting after the 5th or so time. Also, it can and will fuck you up once you've got it nearly dead. With your setup, you're probably best off zerging it down to 30% or so, resting to full, and plowing through the rest of the way.

This also depends on how much damage you do with your spells. I don't know what a BLU60 can expect from SA/SACA, but if it's anywhere near AM level damage, you're just better off sleeping it between rounds.

I'm pretty sure I've intimidated KB's and Kirin's TP moves on my PLD.

kirin may be an exception as all his moves are TP moves, much like the sheep in hostile herbivores. it may be that the attack is simply supplanted with the TP move thus forcing him to roll for para/intimidate/etc as opposed to a natural tp move that consumes tp. i've never seen fafnir para a wing or byakko lose a fang rush to para. it is a very interesting exception though, and i admit to having made too broad a statement.

I did ascertain that because it was quite obvious.

What's funny is that I've often seen RMT selling kclubs in rolanberry/shout and the legit players are like 3/90,000.

    Jobs:
    BST/WHM x 3

    Items:
    Fungar pet
    Pet food zeta

    Strat:
    Go in and summon Fungar
    wait 3:30 min
    Start Blink/Stoneskin
    Heal MP
All Fight & Sic on the Octopus
Each BST hit and run till they get 100%TP then STOP and do nothing! *DO NOT TAKE HATE or die*
Use pet food when your pet reach 60%HP
When your pet dies, resummon > feed, etc
When Octopus has 8%HP everyone go in and rampage him to death.

Usually it should be dead after 2 Fungars from each person and we would rampage it at 6% because I make the third BST the healer since I duo boxing him. And make sure your people know how to run away if they take hate when they are meleeing. The Octopus can hit for over 600.

P.S. No enmity gear whatsoever, we usually go naked with axe and acc gear like life belt, SH and such.

Edit: It's best not to hit the Octopus till about 85% HP, standard BST mumbo jumbo.

You might be right, however I do remember this kind of sequence:
Fe'e hits Taliesin for xxx Damage points.
    Fe'e is intimidated by Taliesin.
    Fe'e is intimidated by Taliesin.
Fe'e hits Taliesin for xxx Damage points.
Fe'e hits Taliesin for xxx Damage points.

This sounded like a single round, and only some hits were intimidated. I know it doesnt work like this when I am intimidated, but that's what I saw.

Now, maybe it was several really fast rounds
