it's going to go down my whole calf. I did look at other shops in the area. I drove within 65 miles of my aprt. checking out places and most aren't as clean and "safe" as this one is. I would rather pay 100 200 more then it would normally cost just to make sure i don't get like hep. C

color doesnt make it cost that much more, usually it costs the same as a black/grey because those ink's are just as expensive (im 80% sure anyway.) that's a pretty simple design also, even if was a pretty decent size i wouldnt pay half that for it. if you saw that in a tattoo shop and asked about it, i'd goto another shop

draw it yourself, even if it takes a long time. picking some crap off a stencil is reserved for the "im just doing it to be cool" crowd. after you pick what you like, save it for 6 months. if you still like it after 6 months then theres a better chance you wont hate it after years.

mehhh i decided i wanted a tattoo, thought of the batman bat symbol a couple days before i went, and decided where i wanted it when i got to the tattoo shop. i dont think you need to put a lot of thought into it, as long as whatever you get makes you happy. they're also very addicting lol if you get one, chances are you'll get more

You know, a lot of co-workers (mexican-american) always tell me the same thing when I ask them why they tattooed themselves (most have aztec tats). I don't know, but from the years I've known them, it seems as if they don't have an identity and are trying too hard to find one (going all the way back to aztects, mayans, etc. etc.). I guess they have the misconception that if they get an Aztec tat somehow will give them w/e is that they are looking for. Going back to the OP, I'm glad you changed your mind for now.

yea i can see what you mean, but to me anyways that stuff only happens when someone like, how do you say... brags about all their tattoos like forces you to stare at them... mine and the ones im going to get are all just for me if people ask about them then i tell them but i dont go "HEY LOOK AT MY IRISH TATTOOS!"
