Wow... I am impressed.

Can we post spoilers?
Black Adam ;;
not till friday, thats when sept gets his issue
but yeah, 52 was amazing
I somehow got behind a couple months ago and decided to wait till the whole thing was out to read it. Got up to 28 last night, gonna try to finish tonight. Spoilers then!
Issue was total win, as long as you ignore the whole Montoya/Batwoman bullshit.
And it sets up for Booster Gold's solo title, which should be similarly awesome.
time for 62
You can PM spoilers in the mean time >_>; , i gave up after OMAC, lost track of a few numbers and i dont feel like picking it up againOriginally Posted by BRP

Yeah, it's like a crack in an otherwise perfect mirror.Montoya/Batwoman bullshit.
For people who don't know, 52 is the comic that gave us "It's no good... it's in machine code... *stare*".
Is WWIII worth picking up? Note: I'm a huge Black Adam fan.
It's all right, not really the epic bloodbath I was hoping for though. Explains why J'onn looks different in #51, and is mostly just about what he was thinking through all that.Originally Posted by BRP
So, having just finished the series -- please tell me I'm not the only one who thought "Skeets uses Soul Eater." in #37?
More once spoiler moratorium is lifted!
I read through my copy, so it is spoileration time!
They brought back the Multiverse, boy that sucks! I hated the multiverse and thought that the Crisis was the greatest thing ever because it removed that cancer from existence. I could deal with Hypertime because the stories didn't affect main continuity, but the multiverse most likely will.
Batwoman is alive! At least one of the characters introduced in 52 made it. (The Question doesn't count since she was already around beforehand.)
Ralph and Sue are together again. The bad news is that they are both dead. And even though Sue is a ghost, that is no excuse for her to be anorexic.
Booster saved everyone! Hurray for Booster Gold finally getting some respect.
All in all, 52 was fantastic from start to finish. My only pet peeve was that they killed so many people, and what they did to Teth-Adam. Beyond that, the series was pulled off better than anyone could have hoped, and they didn't miss a single week. (Hey Marvel, it can be done.)
Am I the only who felt like crying a bit for Black Adam? He didn't even die fighting, now he's like stuck. I know I shouldn't like him, but I pity.
full spoilers damn it!, i dont feel like reading comics, not to mention ill have to download them ._.
You want a whole summery? Uh, too many things happen lol. I guess you could try Wiki.Originally Posted by Tajin

It will give you the bare bones, but really the series is a rewarding read. You should experience them firsthand.
Probably, but i like my comics simple, interwined stories with heroes i dont like / dont know does not appeal to me.
thanks for the link tho. was informative enough :D
All in all I agree with Sept. I don't think I got as much out of it as I could -- I'm very new to the DCU, so a lot of the history was lost on me, even with the little featurettes in the back. I'm really glad my roommate let me borrow his Animal Man trades so at least his part in things made sense to me.
I really hope Ralph and Sue start a ghost detective agency.
The only thing that really bothered me is that it still didn't answer the question about what happened to Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman -- yeah, they were around, doing stuff, but why the hell were they doing that instead of superheroing? Given the covers for the first and last issues, it seems like that is what it was building up to, rather than the (rather out of left field for me) reintroduction of the multiverse and Mr Mind trying to eat everything.
Mr Mind is totally a wamoura.
Superman had a mental block throughout the entire year so his body no longer absorbed solar energy so he was powerless throughout all of 52. His powers coming back are dealt with in the first arc of his comic one year later. Good story.
Batman was off training with Robin and Nightwing, although you saw Nightwing come back early to hit on Batwoman. I remember there being a bit in 52 where you saw Bruce off training. I guess he just trained the entire year, didn't really care about what was going on. Too bad, because I'm sure with time to plan, Batman would have beaten Black Adam to a pulp... kidding, of course.
Wonder Woman was... shit, I don't know. Wonder Woman has been sucking OYL, so I don't really care what she was doing.
