    Igqira Set's Curse

    When equiping multiple pieces does:
    -Proc Rate go up?
    -Does potency go up?

I have a feeling on the first one, but the only time I walked around with more than 1 piece at a time was during an uncapped Ballista(set has nice evasion), so I guess that might not count.

It's always 10% HP. I would assume getting hit while wearing more then one piece would raise the proc rate but it seems to proc really well with just one piece on anyways.

when i got the feet a few weeks ago i went off with the full set on around just seeing what if any effect having the entire set had, it seemed to proc more than just wearing a single piece but maybe that was just a feeling more than anything because as a whole it procs often. i suppose i could try and do some actual testing since i was curious too.

If it does increase the proc rate, I might and try to camp for feet too. Man, Cursing people in PvP is fun lol.

Yeah my ls tried 2 nights of camping that nm we net 2 shells over the span of 30 or so kills between both nights. After the first night we had killed like 17 and got 2 thought ok, not good drop rate but not really bad, but after the second night where we didn't see a drop that opinion started to change rather quickly.

I'll see about doing a small test when i get home from work, yeah what little pvp i've done i usually get people complaining to me in tells about the curse effect lol.

Actually, the curse is 11%, but that is close enough. If you use windower, you can observe most notably in dynamis that some mobs that are untouched are sitting at 89% HP because of them hitting BLMs. You can throw on all the pieces and the curse % won't go up. Proc rate I don't know about

actually, the feet are unnecessary for testing as they don't actually proc curse, unlike the other 4 pieces.

also, did anyone ever test my idea (i've not had time to borrow a corsair and a guinea pig lately) if dark shot ups the effect of this curse? i know they changed it from doing damage (the dispel effect is immaterial) but they didn't change the dark enhancement as you can see from firing it at someone with bio on.

Oh wow, lol. I didn't even know they lacked that feature. God, can SE make crappier BLM feet. (well, I guess they did come out back when it was Relic, AF, Moon Sabots, or nothing). I guess Enhancing Skill+8 could be nice or something.

Don't be silly. The +2 Enmity is so that the BLM can draw hate so that the mob will hit him/her and get cursed.

I've seen more Zenith Mitts +1 and Genie Weskits than I've seen those utterly worthless feet. Which I still haven't seen, because nobody on Hades has that much time on their hands to actually camp the NM.

This is FFXI, where everyone has free time, they just "don't feel like it".

Or, it's very slightly over 10%, or 10% exactly depending on how FFXI and/or windower calculates HP. If it was 10.1%, you'd see 89% remaining, even though there was 89.9% remaining.

That's why 1% seems to last so long... it actually lasts twice as long because it starts at 1 HP under 2%.

They probably have free time, but value their time more worthy than going after this NM just for the BLM to say "these feet are shit lol" and sell it for 5m a month later.
