You're honestly not going to do that much curing. You don't have to cure your party because the colibri there do very little damage, and if you have even semi-competent mages, they can do the healing. Then there's the issue of healing yourself, but you wouldn't need to do that very often if you have /nin there. And on the rare occasions you do sustain significant damage, a cure 3 from either the RDM or WHM doesn't take that long.

That, and you're pulling with elegy, and having your own elegy on you sucks. Putting yourself to sleep with lullaby sucks too.

so, go go /nin at the colibri camp.

In a merit pt as we speak, haven't said as much as hello to the brd.. Same camp, brds got about 100k in gear, brd/nin. Pulls great sang madrigal/min without anybody telling him anything. Getting great exp nice and quite.

Last good PT there we did chain 200 with our BRD subbing RDM. Birds died so fast there was never a need to sleep them. Chain broke when we all had to go for various reasons.

Imo, you're lucky to even get a BRD in your pickup pt. Sometimes i seek for pickup merits and it usually ends up being like 5 WAR's and a SMN with it ending with me saying wtf and disbanding. I hear NA's say this saying all the time when trying to justify a lame camp/PT setup or overcamping when a place is filled, "exp is exp". That's always an early sign that you should disband.

Even if it is a pickup, if you have members in your pick up that are involved in end game, it seems like a no brainer for those people to play their job correctly.

Though the OP is being whiny, I don't see why you guys are cutting Janeru so much slack. Princess bards that don't play their jobs right shouldn't be playing the job anyways. I don't see how the fact that its rare to get a bard in a pickup merit should mean that it doesn't matter if the bard sucks.

Oh and min or march and madrigal at bird camp and spamming kaboobs isn't gimp. I've used that combo along side ridill wars (or on brd/nin pulling) and never ran out of mobs. In the worst case you only need to pull one bird from a different level before the repops happen.
