Jokes aside, most pickups suck, and (on my server atleast) JP pickups can suck just aswell.
What I don't get is: some exp is better than no exp.
...and that is rampant among pickups.

Really should add a rule: If the sentance "Some exp is better than no exp is mentioned, disband."

Yeah now that I think about it more you're probably right. Honestly I been using a lolMartial Knife for the longest fucking time because I can't justify the high ass price on that dagger. I've been doing ENMs for awhile now and so far fucking Corse Capes have been the only real item worth a damn to drop.

I absolutely refuse to sub /nin on BRD ever. Yes I have it levelled and think its the most worthless sub for a BRD. Yes you can all say what you want but when you are in a pt with one other mage and they die and forget to use RR what do you do then? You sit and wait on them HPing or you spam the zone for a raise instead of the BRD R1ing them and them getting their exp back within about 3 mins in a melee burn. Pick up parties are where you find every moron around and I personally would rather being able to cure pts when they get slept cause the idiot healers stand in range than wipe cause I chose to sub nin and was useless to save the pt.

FYI when I merit with my LS we use 2 BRDs and one is usually /nin because thats what they feel comfortable with. However sometimes they aren't available and I pull /whm. Chain 326 with me pulling /whm and we only lost chain cause we left when we got bored. 70k exp ftw.

Not having the right instruments is one thing to complain about yes especially when instruments are cheap but people who continually say 'lol brd/whm' and refuse to exp with them make me laugh. 314 merits and counting using my lol BRD/WHM >.> I actually had to laugh at a pld/WAR in a melee burn who asked me to exp then said no thx cause I refused to sub nin.

Your opinion is probably biased because you party with two bards, and he's the one that subs nin.

2 brds aren't always available though. So when you're the only brd at Colibri camp, i fail to see why having whm sub is so good there. I don't think BLINK is going to save you from the many elegies and lullabies you will sustain.

oh, and do what wafik says. Go pull demons with whm sub and compare it to nin. I pulled demons with whm sub for the longest time and i wanted to tear my hair out. Then, I went there with nin sub and everything was springtime and flowers.
