Yes, and it's so lame. Private Practice is the new Grey's Anatomy spinoff created seemingly just for Kate Welsh (Dr. Addison Montgomery).

I really enjoy Grey's Anatomy for some reason and I don't need to explain myself to the likes of you.... . . .... . . .. .. . . . . .... . stop judging me!

I watched it last night hoping for some good new episode but it was like %15 Grey's Anatomy and 85% pilot for this new stupid show Private Practice set in LA with Addison's old friends she went to med school with.

Makes me sad because Addison was one of my favorite characters on Grey's Anatomy and now she's splitting off to do this retarded version of Grey's Anatomy only with LA instead of Seattle, and crappy actors instead of good ones, and with herbal medicine and accupuncture instead of surgery. It was a waste of 85% of my 2 hours last night.

The one episode I really did enjoy was a few seasons ago, when Christina Ricci was on the show as an EMT who had her hand stuck holding a bomb inside a patient. I wont say more about it if some people havent seen it yet but want to.
Great episode though since it didnt completely focus on sleeping around.

It's episodes like that that make watching the shitty soapy shows worthwhile. When they do those well, you forget all of the shit. And yes, Addison is fucking hot in a amazon/milfy kinda way.

That episode (post super bowl) killed Greys. Every since then Shonda's been trying to keep the drama level at that bar, and it's turned it into the worst soap opera on television. I stopped watching after they turned the most awesomest character on television (the Nazi) into a blubbering mess during her childbirth. The writers should watch the first season of Veronica Mars for a good example of pacing throughout a season to keep from turning the show into a trainwreck.

I noticed as well that they let Miranda Bailey's character go to hell, but she's been coming back slowly...

O'Mally is retarded now as well, he used to be the hopeless, underappreciated, sweet guy, now he's an emo mess... and he sporadically married a cow.
