BG should make a new forum topic group or whatever it's called for this type of topics, cause this is hardly a "FFXI: Advanced Player Discussion"... make a group called "FFXI: Advanced Drama Discussion" wich would seperate the drama from the sometimes usefull topics that actiualy involve anything remotely relevent for FFXI.

And why the constant resurfacing of the same 2 topics in every damm tread... point1 being "xavier against RMT and stuff but did it himself", common we read that like 100 times allready and the same goes for the "insert shell name here" bots topics, the only endgame shell that can call itself "saints" in the botting category is UDF... no cant call them totaly none cheaters cause a certain few ppl once used mr.argus to kite lol kirin once or twice.

Fact is that it's 3 years past complaining about botting... start complaining to SE to fix the core of the problem like fucking ping advantages and stuff wich have driven NA and everyone else to botting, wich again drives the JP into botting too, wich in the end have levled the playing field a bit cause now it's not about who have more JP ps2 players but who have more botters that win the claim.

I hate botting but after 2 years of yelling at FI and ocasionaly at BG during their short "botting era" it's just pointless to go on, cause aparently SE dont give a fuck.

For ppl who dont remember, before BG's "core" members ratted out and RMT their chars to siste (chars wich me and many others helped pimp out) SS where posted of the BG internal forums wich is very simular to the SS xavier dug out of Siste forums in terms of contens.
Also a certain member of BG who is my friend and had a very shitty connection found out how to DUPE shit and with the help of other BG members he duped over 1200milion gil.

And because of me that same person was given an ultimatum to stop duping or quit the LS, they quit the LS. On top of that, rules were setup to prohibit members from botting, at the punishment of removal from the LS if caught. I'd say the rule is fairly effective, since our claim-rate is near non-existent in the face of blatant botting linkshells such as yours.

We weren't sitting around the round table a week ago discussing the best ways to bot as a linkshell, and we definitely aren't using the "we bot because we have to" excuse to justify cheating. Its linkshells like yours that ruin the game for the legitimate ones, because in an ideal environment where nobody botted, the current claim system is pretty fair.

My WHM is level 1 so i think your gravely mistaken, and who's stupid enough to belive blu spells dont feed mobs TP... like a month after blu was released it was tested and proved by a bst that each hit from a blu physical spell give the mob 10 TP (thats before you add subtil blow and rajas ring wich takes it down to 7 TP or so)

And again, you're wrong. As far as I know there is NO linkshell on Bahamut which has ever compared to Sis, with openly endorsed botting and rmting.

The brief period of time where BG had people botting, it was kept secret from the majority of the linkshell. If you spend more than 5 seconds looking at the screenshots posted, its obvious that Sis openly encourages botting, as well as discusses the best ways to go about it as a group. Thats far and away an entirely different level of involvement.

They fixed the latency issue beween JP and NA players, by delaying the time that the mob was claimable. If nobody used bots, it would be a fairly level playing field. That was their fix. Its not their fault that linkshells like yours persist in actively breaking the rules of the game, but it is their responsibility to ban, which they seem to be doing quite often these days.

Also thank you for confirming to me that the SS of BG's botting was true, since you obviously know what i was talking about.

He mentioned a SS that was posted by Kuai, showing that Kuai had a bot on his personal computer. There is absolutely nothing to suggest on the forums that conversations took place in which botting was both encouraged and strategically discussed.

My playing at the time is pretty irrelevant to the point. He was told to stop duping or quit, he quit the LS. Thats indisputable.
