I didn't put the Daily Show and Colbert Report on that list because I consider them to be news. (Which is a sad commentary on the state of the news industry, especially given the amount of news that I watch.)

I used the same reasoning w/ my list. Most people my age get the majority of their news from The Daily Show, which is kinda sad but at least theres a show that kids are actually watching for news, even if its bundled in sarcasm.

Watching The Daily Show does give you a fairly wide range of current events, but Colbert can be kinda dangerous to the people who just don't get the joke.

Idk, I see it as more of an informative commentary on the news. But those two shows make me laugh harder than any sitcom on now. Those two and Bill Maher are just pure genius.


That and I don't really watch much of anything else on TV lol.
