Her going to jail in the first place didn't really need to be on the news.

A judge enforcing equal justice kind of did. It's appalling and disgusting that money and power can protect one from the consequences of their actions, and glorious when someone has the stones to make a punishment stick.

In a country governed by the Rule of Law, no one should b exempt, and the fact that people are is wrong on every conceivable level.

She did. The sherrif sent her home to do the rest of her time in house arrest, the next day police hauled her ass to court where the judge overruled the sheriff's decision. She's back in jail.

And apparently, she was crying for her Mom when they dragged her out of the court room too.

Honestly, how could this have been any better? Anyone being taken to jail crying in the back of a cop car is hilarious, but Paris Hilton being carted off to the clink in tears is so much funnier than just a normal person.

honestly, if california wanted to avoid any other possible debt crisis, they would have rigged web cams in the jail and charged 50 bucks a subscription. even vegas could have gotten into the act, setting up bets on when, where and how she gets shanked. would be like clue, only fun 8)
