    I'm angry that AIM keeps disconnecting me every 5 minutes for no fucking reason. Anyone have any idea what to do?

    I use the old version of AIM, and recently I reformatted my computer. I'm looking for something that blocks those fucking adds on the top of your AIM, that expands and animates. Everytime I pull up my buddy list, it lags everything. Solutions?

    Unfortunately, if you choose to use AOL's AIM, you're stuck with them. Use a third party app to get rid of them (Gaim, Trillian, etc).

    You can use an old AIM from http://www.oldversion.com and then use DeadAIM to block the ads and such.
