What causes double casting at kings?

Today at KB someone started casting on it twice when it popped before it was claimed. Screens (Just a few):

In both screenshots you can see Louferingo claim with provoke, and Tubbers (in the same LS as the claimer) casting Dia on KB twice. What causes the double cast BG?

Seeing that hes first and last on the log, I don't see how he couldn't have just seen the mob first, got delayed, and had enough time for dia to be useable again to cast.

Edit: looks like it was already claimed by the time his second dia started casting too.

Looks like he was casting dia but he was to fast and someone in the same ls claimed and his dia went off at that time.

Eh, this wasn't even a "doublecast" scenario. My stun came around 4-5 seconds after Tubbers hit that first dia, since for some reason my cursor on my spell list was still on Stoneskin and I had to scramble to find the damned spell because ohmygod I have to throw out my little stun to make myself feel a little better or else I'll go cut my wrists for missing a spawn yet again and I hate feeling useless and I've never claimed anything and...

But I digress.

Anyways... Tubbers isn't a bot. His second dia came a couple seconds after my masterfully speedy stun, which would make the spell recastable again under normal circumstances. We just got lucky with 8 there. Was a fun fight, too.

What made Tonko's case worth talking about was that his 3 casts were in consecutive order on the claim log, among numerous other people casting.

How so? I don't see how this has to be done by a bot. Its probably not the best claiming method possible, but seeing that in the party chat could mean a person is using something similar to this:

1. /target <stnpc>
2. /ma "Flash" <lastst>
3. /p ZOMG FLASH <lastst> LOLOLOL

Can be an ok claiming method if darters or other mobs are up in the way. Leave the blue arrow over w/e other mob is up, and try to tab onto the HNM and press enter as quickly as possible.

Then again, I've never claimed anything, so what do I know

Was just something I wondered.

I remember hearing a while back that some of the bots had built-in give-aways, where you'd say something absolutely retarded in shout if you were running the program and it activated, but I never actually say it happen to anyone so idk if it was anything more than a rumor.

Sadly, we don't have a Vent channel at the moment. We're a bunch of lazy, antisocial bastards who shriek uncontrollably at the sound of human voices, so we're not sure getting one is the best idea. I may, on a random whim, get one so we can hear what our suicidal dynamis puller says to himself as he pulls something noone in their right mind should ever do, and everyone else's reactions as we wipe yet again. Sounds like bundles of fun, actually.

lol, i tried claiming the tree a few times noticed i couldnt so had to walk around it to voke KB. (unable to see msg )

KB popped in my face, I was mashin' mah' macro

There weren't many people there so no lag on pop time, white in my face, and I got the "you cannot cast on that mob." Darn, too fast, might as well keep mashing macro to see who got it (it was purple on my screen, my second cast was AFTER it was claimed)
Dia was ready again, basically after casting animation finished, so I cast again, and it landed, "woot I guess we got it after all."
As has been said before, chatlogs don't necessarily have a timelog on them, if they did, you'd have seen my second Dia was quite a few seconds after the first.
Thanks so much for getting me my own thread though, it was a nice effort.
