What website do you guys buy your books from? Looking for the cheapest prices ><

I've never bought off of the internet, and seeing as how the school stores rip you off, I tend to skip out on buying text books.

Buy used if you can from the store or online.

That site may work, it's a part of eBay, so just be careful when you buy off there, or anywhere online.

I always just used amazon and selected from the assorted used books from various vendors. I usually get about half off of school stores.

My school has a student -> student used book selling system if you'd like to go that route (obviously check if yours has one first). If you have any decent bartering skills you'll get what you need for way less than the school store.

My college always had one or two copies of each book they sold available in the school library so I just would photocopy what I needed.

During my 3rd and 4th year at Uni (I took 5 to finish my BA, thank you) I had a friend who worked at the campus' student-run copy centre. I would loaned or borrowed copies of the books and have him photocopy the entire thing and charge me like $10 because he was bored enough to do it.

You can try google.
And then there's always bittorent and those p2p places if they still exist (kazaa... etc, I haven't used these in a while).
