If you actually look at the jp wiki link just posted, it looks like 2 jp groups have posted about Wing2. One had a sheep NM that spwned up to 5 chigoes. It's kinda hard to read the translation but seems like more of the same really.

I find it odd that there are moogles in the mob list. >.>
I want to fight giant moogles![]()

one thing I'm trying to figure out is if Boss stats (mainly HPs) are somehow modified by the number of trash mobs in the room. Yesterday my LS went in, and after us it was the turn of my roommate and his shell; they entered like 1h after us but got the same boss, the Wivre. Was pretty shocked to see only 6 Flesh and we tore them apart but the Marid Boss is just lame. Any other Mega and it would have been an easy win~
basic difference was that we got 12 skeletons + Wivre, while they met 12 ghost+12 bats+Wivre. needless to say the spent more time on trash mobs than us and engaged boss with about 9 min left (my group had 17 min). one thing i noticed is they got Wivre HP 100 > 70% in like 2 mins while it took us a good 6-8 mins to achieve the same; on a side note they were 36, we were 24.
Now it can be just a matter of people + 2hr timing, so I'm asking if anyone had a similiar experience, either meeting the same boss twice (but with different trash number) or watching someone else on it.
LS did Rossweisse room last night. Same "balanced" set-up with WARs, BLMs, Tanks and support.
We had 23 people this time and ended up with the ghosts and the Orobon as the NM.
I didn't get the count of ghosts but it was about 10-15 of them which we had the BRDs sleep as we split the melees and mages up to take care of them as fast as possible. Some tier 3 -ga's went off but with the mages constantly silencing them and as the numbers dwindled down for the ghosts it got easier. A pink bird showed up in the middle of our fight and we ended up killing it but I saw no message or a chest pop.
We started on the Orobon NM with about 10 minutes left in our time. It had about 125k HP and we ended up with the win and 3 Orobon meats as well as a majority of us with access to the tier 2 rooms.
This seems like a reasonable idea. Why not hold a mob or two next to the Marid Boss and see if Probiscus Shower works like 1000 Needles?Originally Posted by Pendas
One of the Einherjar themes seems to be forcing you to fight more than one mob at a time.
Another group went into Wing II apparently; so far we know:
Possible bosses:
-Mokkuralfi: Imp? (Devilet model probably)
-Ariri Samarir: Poroggo madame
-Balrahn: Soulflayer (That special model used for Nyzul flayer NMs?)
-Tanngrisnir: Karakul (That can spawn up to 6 djiggas)
-Hrungnir: Golem
-Andhrimnir: Flan? (Custard model probably)
Possible trash mobs:
-Marid-X x6
-Wivre-X x6
-Waldgeist (Sapling) x12
-Audhumbla (Ram) x6
-Flames of Muspelheim (Growing bomb) x12
-Battlemite (Diremite, duh) x12
I'm thinking that is the case, too. Something like:one thing I'm trying to figure out is if Boss stats (mainly HPs) are somehow modified by the number of trash mobs in the room. You get 2 groups of mobs + easy boss
or
You get 1 group of mobs + hard boss
How much mobs are in the group seems to be dependent on the mob and the wing.
I'm most interested in what kind of ampoule reward you get from Wing2+ wins...
Wing II win yields 800 ampoules.
Obviously they increase as you go higher in wings so Wing three its safe to say will be 1,000+
Fuck Odin and his weakass armor. Wing-3 farming only. I need my Animator +1.
Hopefully he'll drop more than his armor >.>Originally Posted by miokomioko
The abjurations for his armor could be dropped by anything in any wing, I think. Didn't someone get one of the Valhalla plate armor abjurations from Wing 1 already? He'll probably drop some random abjurations, like d.feet, h.head, or p.hands or something.Originally Posted by Tulun
No, there was Abj. Gear, Shadow/Valkyrie and Valhalla Helm/Body which are "Odin's Gear", as well as the Lance and Sword most likely.
Two new Abjs which seemingly drop from chests. http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Abjuration ... 8Shadow.29
Valhalla Helm/Brestplate which maybe drop from Odin.

Sword and Lance which maybe drop from Odin.

I see it being similar to Bahamut:
Odin will always drop an armor piece and a weapon. The armor can either be the helm or breastplate, and the weapon can either be the sword or the fork.
I don't want to get too into it, but they could be 1 of 6 rewards for a quest where you choose from:
-Valhalla Helm
-Valhalla Breastplace
-Hofud
-Valkyrie's Fork
-Gil (or maybe Therion whatever?)
or
-A pact with Odin
I feel Zammish saying stuff like that, but Odin does seem like the most likely candidate for a summonable avatar.
(Quest Name: Trial by Darkness? Key item: Whisper of death? gloom? hell? the underworld? Not being too serious here. >_>)
Oh, I thought the two new abjuration sets made Valhalla(NQ)/Valkyrie(HQ) and Shadow(NQ)/Valkyrie(HQ) gear.Originally Posted by Judai

I'm kinda doubting the sword comes from odin at all since Red vs Blue drops a ??? sword(probaly hofud) no other rare/ex sword was added in the update and they usually don't have ??? item without ra/ex special for it and chance polearm being the same I'm hoping.Originally Posted by Judai
I'm not an assault expert, but do any of the rare/ex appraisals have models unique to them? The hofud gets its own model, just like the Valhalla stuff and the fork. Also, does anyone know what the historical background behind the sword is? I searched but I got bored.Originally Posted by Wolfknight
Also, the sword and fork both look like tiny versions of his weapons (how long has the sword been "fused" (according to ModelViewer) with the fork besides in the WoG trailer?)
Every Assault has several possible ??? items, just because it drops a ??? Sword doesn't mean it's something special. The new Assaults more then likely drop a ??? Belt and they appraise to new Sashs that work in Salvage.Originally Posted by Wolfknight
