Hugin and Muinin are Odin's personal scouts from Norse Mythology, also known as "thought and memory." Maybe this can make the boss forget certain TP moves or change his style of using them?
The tiger is the name of the beast which is cooked every night for the Einherjar as a feast after their battle.
Place Names
Each chamber is named after a Valkyrie from the play "Die Walkure" (or the Valkyrie).
Valgrind is the name of the entrance to Valhalla. The only mortals allowed to enter this place is the Einherjar.
Overall naming
The Einherjar are the mortals who died a death in glorious battle and are chosen by the Valkyrie to serve Odin during Ragnarok, the final battle.
I think the goal of Einherjar, is to essentially BECOME an Einherjar. You're passing the Valkyrie's tests and gaining access to Valgrind which is the gate to Valhalla.
