Obviously, nothing anyone will say or do will make you think you're wrong, that's pretty blatant from your behavior here. Still cracks me up that you have to change mob names to remove guesswork and put noses on gears because you can't be arsed to figure out their (highly predictable) movement routes, but hey, it's not like my game experience is degraded by you and it's not like you give a damn. I guarantee one thing though, if LW and Aurik *did* start renaming mobs or putting noses on gears, I'd take my leave and tell them to find a new RDM, because that's not something I'd be proud to be a part of.

p.s. Our success is the result of good players, one helluva math and pattern-finding whiz, and an organizer/manager who is very, very good at making on-the-spot strategy decisions that so far have not set us wrong. It's hardly LW riding Aurik's nuts, each fills a valuable role and we would be much less successful without the two of them together.

You can feel free to use any strategies you wish and I don't think anyone's going to call you inferior. Unless those strategies involve breaking the rules, in which case we'll call you on it. Problem is, yours do.

We MNK tank stuff, you use BLMs, happy days, life is good. No one cares that we do Salvage differently. People make suggestions based on their own experiences, but do you really think we'll call you inferior if you find a different way that works?

The only reason anyone calls you inferior is that you do things that are otherwise not available in-game to improve your performance. TParty can be replicated easily with party chat. The one thing Distance provides a real advantage on (Discoid) can be replicated just as easily: stand a BRD right next to your melees, have them sing with a horn, stagger mages a bit to find the exact edge of song range, then have all stand just outside of it. If your RNGs or BSTs can't make a Zhayolm run, you'll still have your modded .DATs to fall back on, and there is no legitimate in-game mechanic to allow you to do what you're doing without one of those two jobs present.

Actually, I don't. I play RDM, so I don't need TParty. I said above how one can easily make do without Distance. For double bonus points, most of our members who would benefit from Windower plugins either choose not to use them or don't play on PC, there's only a couple people who even have access to stuff like TParty or Distance.

That's where people's opinions will vary. I don't equate that to TParty, I equate it to removing darters in Dragon's Aery, which everyone else will easily quantify as cheating. I do think this argument is plain retarded though but its extremely hypocritical of you to attack SML's group for elitist behaviour when you do the same about your strategies. Every group that posts on this board believes the way they do it is the best and can be seen preaching it over and over in many threads.
