Vent problem (before my LS murders me)

OK I'm sick of them complaining to me about this...

Whenever I'm on vent, running through a headset and mic - apparently my PC sound echos back so they get all my game music, and vent echoing.

They keep complaining to me about it and saying something's screwy in config somewhere but I don't quite know what it is.

Any ideas to stop them complaining about it (apart from threats of violence)?

Lower your mic volume and in the advanced options of the mic. disable the mic. boost

On the right side of the Setup menu there's a "Hardware input Mixer" You want to select your sound card the microphone is running on for the mixer, Mux stays Recording control, and Line is Microphone.
