How hard is the Flux Flan? This is the first time I've done this zone, and the previous slot NM i've done is from Arrapago, the slot flayer NM almost always end in disaster.

Flux Flan is a piece of cake, much easier than the Soulflayer Socket NM in Arrapago.

Of course, it could simply be because you are much more likely to be well prepared in Bhaflau than you are in Arrapago.

I know how to pop floor 1, 2 and 4 ramparts, but i dont have a creal view on how ot pop the rampart in floor 3. Anyone know how?

BTW what is the best way to kill those gears in less or in 60 secconds?

I'd say melee one down to 5-10%, sleep it, melee another down to 5-10%, sleep it, and then have BLMs cast Blizzaga III. But I've never bothered with this Rampart.

BTW what is the best way to kill those gears in less or in 60 secconds?

Kill both at the same time for floor 3 to pop rampart.

I think the toughness of the gears are highly exaggerated. Basically with 2mnk + 2 addional DD and your mages nuking, you should have no problem taking them down in 60s. Like mentioned before, make sure to rest to full and let your mages know to go all out. Last time we only had blu and rdm nuking, and it worked fine.

Also, I suggest against doing more than 1 rampart + boss in the same run. You will surely run out of time. If you want to weaken the boss, I suggest doing a rampart of your choosing, then kill 10 gears and not enter dormant (or enter if that's the one you want).

Allow one BLM to do the honors, and have him use Elemental Seal so that nothing unfortunate happens.

thats 6 DDs u bring which is alot which is why u find it easy and thats why, to u, the toughness of the gears are highly exaggerated lol.

I see, I guess it's a lot different if with only 2 DD as primary damage. Still, I believe with 1 blm, and your whm and rdm both nuking, it shouldn't be too difficult.

usually it takes 20 min or slightly more for a full rampart

havent done full for long time cos usually do boss too so drop something and make people happy

usually just do 50% of 1 or 2 rampart if no pop NM, then move to boss

if one door pop a NM before 50% then we just make it a full rampart farm run 1 2 4

no one wants 3F loots anyway >.>
