We pretty much got everything we need from LBC. We did like a million of them long time ago trying to get Usakane to complete a piece. I think everyone in our group has Ares's body, Morrigan's body, tossed 800 Ares's heads from it, etc.
We keep doing ramparts because we need Morrigan's hands, Marduk Legs (x2), Skadi Body, and Usakane Feet (lots) 35s. But bastards just won't pop for us.
They won't pop for us cuz you suck Wolf and are bad luckkkkkkkkkkkkkk.![]()

Hey, there has to be a point where even my TH stumbles into some luck on accident![]()
If you shout loud enough, the NMs will come.

How do you guys typically handle the colibri?
Simply put, we had a couple blms, and we couldn't melee the Colibri down faster than they were popping. Sleeping them kinda sucks cause of reflect. Suggestions?
blue mage soporific and sheep song if you really need sleeps
if not, 1 brd and rdm should be able to handle everything
I had completly forgotten about BLU spell sleeps, thanks for the tip!
This will hopefully work wonders for us, as we usually do have a BLU come with us.
You can also pretty safely nuke the colibris to kill them. Thunder 4 with locked INT was doing about 50% damage to them. Even if they reflect it back, their INT is crap. A reflected Thunder 4 didn't even knock off my stoneskin.
Also, I didn't see it mentioned but I don't really read this thread anymore since mostly everything in Bhaflau has been long discovered. Yesterday we had wind weather on the gear floor, so we just decided to just kill LBC with normal HM. On the way, we decided to kill the Archaic Chariot.
When we got to LBC, I noticed his HP was dropping a lot faster than usual and the melees confirmed that his defense was definitely weaker. I was under the impression that killing the Archaic lowered his attack, and not his defense. This was on the west side, btw.
iirc, I believe it was said West side is defense down, east side is Attack speed down, only way of reducing its attack damage is through your own buffs/food/gear.Originally Posted by Xerlic

Well I can confirm from today's LBC that East side, althought it may affect it's attack, it definitely affects it's movement speed. We had wind weather trying to pull gears, started wasting time waiting for very safe pulls then after 1 link we got fed up and just killed the chariot and went up. Normally we kill gears and do weakened LBC, our first that wasn't nerfed and a crap ton of HM's went off, but we were kiting it around below 20%HP without difficulty and not taking any damage. Still won with 10 mins left. Long fight if you decide to kite it lol.
East is attack speed, it still hits for the same damage east every time we do it.

This was about my 15th run of bhaflau (counting when bee didn't poped too)
Mad Bomber wasn't up so we only did the bee (alot of people were tired so)
3 bee poped 2 Usu feet 1 skadi mask total, with TH4
Time to do the Silver sea boss today maybe

Last LBC we did i messed up gear pulling (Yay, wind <<) on the west side, so we just killed the charriot following the believe that it should reduce LBC's defense. I'm quite convinced such thing is true as this is the second time we do it and do notice an improvement in our general dmg. Ofcourse, no parsers here, i only can say that from observation this seems likely.Originally Posted by Not Kuno
On top of that though, he didn't do a single HM until he was quite low on health, i believe it was actualy under 25% or whenever he gets the TP regen exactly. He did turn at least two times on us and did that nasty Turn->TP thing he does now and then where you simply can't rotate in time, and both times his TP moves were not HM. This reminded me of some speculation i read around here about HM being possibly locked until some point into the fight and related to the charriot killing. Can anyone confirm if this speculation ever existed?
I never did west so I can't really comment on that.. but east produces fairy noticable movement speed down and attack speed. But people say it lowers attack but it still hits for the same damage according to our monks. <.<
We always go west on our Bhaflau runs. Yesterday we only managed mini-Chariot (we've noticed a definate damage increase from our melee), and only 8/10 gears (first set 5/5, second set 3/5) due to shitty wind weather (aggro ranged is definately increased on those gears, on a previous rampart farming run, we only had 5 minutes left so I decided to test out the aggro range on those gears. No wind weather ~8.6 still no aggro, haven't had a chance to test it out fully on wind weather, but I'd say it's double).Originally Posted by Shassira
We were also under the impression that our preperations for LBC that run would lead to no HM before his tp regen phase at 25% (not sure why we thought this, must be the same from the same source you read about on here somewhere) . But LBC busted out HM at around 75%. Got the win nevertheless, 2 x Robe!
Our best run of mini-Chariot and 10/10 gears has netted us a < 4 minute kill on LBC. Gotta love revitalisers and Corsair 2 hour
Whenever we get 10/10 gears we just have our 2 x Mnks tank it straight in the face, HM is so pathetic when fully debuffed there's no need for the tanks having to manouvre themselves to the sides.
