What I mean is, the fourth rampart's effect on LBC is very obvious. Missiles with low, consistent damage and no hate reset... who can miss that? If the other ramparts weaken LBC in any way, it's less apparent since I have done first or second floor ramparts in addition to LBC in the same run and I have not noticed any weaknesses.

Also, lolbee is now lolbeedroprate.

Maybe the first 2 ramparts don't weaken the boss? But rather, to make up for their NMs having only 1 drop, only the bird ramparts weaken LBC?

Not sure if this was mentioned or not, but when LBC was weakened I got hit by Inertia Stream and it didn't bind me either. lol.

Going to put out a theory now that the number of gears killed on the 4th floor is proportional the strength of LBC's abilities (perhaps attack, movement speed, and accuracy?).

Perhaps we can get groups to kill a different amount of gears and see what happens XD.

Out of curiosity how long could a group predict to spend fighting a rampart? We've never done one...done everything but that but plan to do 4th floor rampart > lbc tonight and I want to know how much time to leave to farm that rampart + have time for boss after

Going to put out a theory now that the number of gears killed on the 4th floor is proportional the strength of LBC's abilities (perhaps attack, movement speed, and accuracy?).

Perhaps we can get groups to kill a different amount of gears and see what happens XD.

This will get tested in due time due to people who naturally fail at popping the 4F rampart and then proceed to boss anyway.

I refuse to change it from 'lolbees'. I have a very specific naming system for Salvage for my group:

Bhaflau - lolbees
Zhayolm - lolribbit
Arrapago - lolrats / lolrodents
Silver Seas - lolzombies

Grats on the sune-ate though! We were thinking about doing a run tonight or sometime just to hit up the Pephedro and maybe chariot, two questions though:

1 - Was it at night time? (I'm doubting this theory more and more, but more data helps)
2 - Did you have a Thief with you (I was kicking myself for not coming Thief on ours.. but hey)

Sadly enough, I think Kuno hit it on the head with this one. We weakened the chariot last night, and everyone was still getting bound when it used Inertia Stream.


In an unrelated topic - are the droprates for all the pieces off of LBC the same, or are bodies more rare than the others? I've been looking around trying to get some samples of other people's droprates, but haven't really found any aside from Kuno's and Wafik's groups.

Skadi Feet: 1
Usukane Legs: 0
Marduk Hands: 2
Morrigan Head: 2
Morrigan Body: 0

These are just the ones I can remember though, my LS wasn't keeping track of Salvage for the first few months. The lack of Usukane is annoying to us, since over a third of the people want to upgrade that set. But of course you can't derive any sort of conclusion with a sample size this small.

Killing 4 gears did jack and shit

On Monday I think we'd killed 6-7 before someone agroed one and made it warped. I didn't notice LBC being any weaker with killing that many.

When we got to the fight with LBC, we fought it as normal, thinking the missiles would not be nerfed. At around 40%, it got a missile off, and the effects were a bit strange. It throat-stabbed its intended target, but all of the people just caught in the AoE took 200-300 damage with no hate reset. It seemed as if killing most of the gears only semi-nerfed it.

Also, Bodb's crown and Ea's Dastanas again, making me 0/6 on my last robe piece. Ugh.

So i guess that means you dont have to kill the rampart to weaken it, just all the gears. Or wonder if rampart is part of the completion. Doing another Bhaf on monday, ill try just gears and see how it works.

Is widescan effected by pathos? If so would an opacus cell restore it?

If so; can Mad bomber be widescanned from the starting area?

This is something we discussed after a run and wont be back for awhile, but if this would allow us to get gate widow off our kill list I'm sure we would be willing.
