So continuing with my "I refuse to ever join another salvage group" I have decided I need 2 pairs of morri cuffs.

That being said - how do we feel about duo 1f Bhaflau? I'm thinking WAR/NIN + BLM or BLU. My question is basically: If I bring an IC wing and build 300TP + mighty strikes + warriors charge -> KJ or SC -> IC wing -> MS KJ + Manafont Fire IV (or big 3 spam from BLU) would that be enough to take MB down quickly?

And once I get to rampart I'm looking at shadow body / snakeeye / orochi nodawa / herc ring for up to 7/tick regen base + spell or drinks + defender and some PDT-% set. Will the 5 mobs out at once be too much?

the chigoes hits for almost nothing. def food should do it. You will probably not kill them fast enough though. If you have a rdm then its np with phalanx II they hit for zero. As for soloing MB,, i know for fact the SAM can solo it with 2H.

Yea if you had 300TP + 2 hour and an ic wing you should almost certainly take it down. A single Sekkanoki lvl 3 chain from a SAM can take off 40-50%+ and as mentioned, 2H will easily solo it. Don't see any possible problems with it on WAR other than missing the first WS if you chose to use SC instead of KJ.

/comfort, I feel your pain. I have seen this nm once in one of our first salvage runs about a year and a half to two years ago and the drop went to a sam that quit the game shortly after. At the moment we need 5 35 boots from him, and he is the only nm we need anything from in all of bhaflau.

we got 4 pops today, 1 usu drop. Lights day 10-13:00 nothing special with moon or time of spawns either

You would be better off with a rdm over blm or blu. A RDM with a decent nuking build can easily outdamage either of those other jobs within the time limit you have for killing MB.

We have done Bhaf at least 25+-30 times and gotten 0 first/second rampart pops, we only farm those two ramparts, people dont really want the other stuff. Anyone else having any ideas?

we have tried killing rampart 1- daylight, Nighttime, Killing all mobs prior to MB, Killing only a few, Killing all trolls and not bigger wamouras. Keeping the rampart engaged on by a rdm, Haveing them super tank all mobs. Enfeebling it every few second, doing nothing to it. Bringing different jobs, Cor instead of brd, Sams/Drgs instead of Monks and such. Tried Leaving 5 out at a time and then killing them all asap then re-holding 5 at a time. tried not moving from where we spawn into the room, Moving around the room. Tried killing MB with 2hrs, Without 2hrs, with nukes, without nukes. I Don't know what to do anymore for this guy, He just wont pop, we've not seen a single pop since July and then we only saw two pops on 1 run, before that it has been months.

For second rampart we always pop it without sc's tried killing flans with sc's. I wouldn't know what else to try with those guys, For Rampart, we have tried all of the same things as the Mad Bomber pop we had 2 pop in 1 run from us keeping claim on rampart, since then nothing.

Anyone have any ideas for how to make this pop other then threatening to kill someone!

Yes, and i meant to type ideas, i edited it, But this thread is super jumpy everywhere from ramparts to drops to other random things, mainly consisting of the boss and the last few gears. I gave a list of what I've done hoping for some more ideas maybe something that people have gotten to work 2-3 times for them. I didn't see anything in here unless you wanna point it out for me Then that would be helpful instead of another useless post about someone making a post.

We were considering maybe entering on the east side instead has anyone tried this for MB, If you have does it increase the pop rate in your opinion? I wonder if there's something about not killing any Wamouracampa has anyone tried that? any ideas are appreciated.

its like crafting, moonphase/day is horseshit. Of course there are exceptions but the more often you do it the more often you'll get the drops. if your major needs are first/second floor ramparts, do both of them 5-6 times a week. It sucks yes, welcome to salvage.

yea, we do 4 runs a week, 1 group does a zone while the 4 main lotting morr hands/usu feet just do bhaf runs, over and over and over lol, Still its such a waste of time, Our other zones are getting 0-3 Drops per run lol So was Just was hoping for anyone who had any luck, BTW, adding on, has anyone tried killing flans Counter clockwise and seen a increase? /sigh

Definite necro, but was curious on how I would go about soloing the 1F on RDM/NIN if it's possible? I saw Mojo's post awhile back on 2F and just couldn't find any info on 1F. Would like to try this when I'm not running a Salvage on that particular day as an extra type of thing.

Just asking on if it's possible to solo Mad Bomber to pop the rampart. Thanks for any info!

~15-18k HP. RDM can use Chainspell to take it down, since it takes extra damage~

It shouldn't be too hard, just chainspell Fire III.

However, I don't see why you would need /NIN though. I think any sub would be fine, most all mobs hit for like 0 with phalanx on anyway, and its not like you'd be able to keep shadows up with chigoes hitting you anyway. The only thing you'd possibly need shadows for is the bomb, but I don't think he would be alive for long enough to warrant the use of /NIN.
