    We keep going back and forth on what to have one of our ppl bring.

    We have:
    • Mnk/(War or Nin)[/*:m:3e72b]
    • Mnk/(War or Nin)[/*:m:3e72b]
    • Blm/Whm [/*:m:3e72b]
    • Rdm/Whm[/*:m:3e72b]
    • Brd/Whm[/*:m:3e72b]
    • Nin/War or Whm[/*:m:3e72b]
    • Dual Boxed Ridill Thf for TH and Steal (Ridill is realy nice on 1st and 2nd floors)[/*:m:3e72b]


    We wonder if we should have the Nin come whm or stay nin. For boss fights we were going to have him come Whm, and Nin for just farming runs, but we still go back and forth on it. If blm (me) Focuses on helping cure for the boss we might be alright on MP, but then again >< Whm is always nice, and 2 Mnks can kill a boss fast. So its been a toss-up. We usualy just have him go nin.

    Any comments or thoughts? His extra dmg on Nin is definaly nice, but so would the cures from his Whm.

    Edit: This is aimed at the boss fight btw, not normal farming.

    I was talking about about paralyna/erase from whm subjob mostly. Went 5th floor without seeing any the other day (0 drop on 4th and 5th). Like you said, it can be done and I've no doubt about it, but there is certain day where a whm will really speed thing up.

    What did you trio with this setup? The NM on the way up or you include mega in all this?

    We killed QQTH x2 and Chariot. If you meant Boss when you said going for chariot, then no we didn't trio that. But the single gears on 6F drop subjob like candy, same with leg cells. We seem to get 1-2 SJ off like every single gear there. We give our RDM the first SJ cell all the time unless we have a WHM as well.

    My group usually just clears the 4 central rooms on 1F, and pulls Lamia from the surrounding rooms. It is usually a pretty good balance of cells, and we warp up after like 20minutes. We also warp up to skeles or qutrubs based on whether we need HP or weapons more. With the starting chest, it seems rather pointless to worry alot about weapons or magic on the first floor.

    This is the route my LS normally takes and we're off the floor in 20-25 min. (Sneak isn't accurate, we don't sneak on this floor at all since the chests were added.)

    When I said charriot, I meant the 5th floor charriot NM that drop usu/marduk/skadi, sorry. And yes, I asked if you could get to the mega boss with 3 (would have been impressed if it was killable with so little people in 100min)

    Just my own observations, but you seem to spend way too much time on first floor. You're killing a TON of mobs, when a) There are about 9 Qutrub or Skeleton (depending where you port) on second floor, and 6-7 more of each on the 3rd floor. Moreover, HP drops from ramparts and weapons drops from QQTHs. Moremoreover, magic drops QQAs and Bhoots at an extremely high drop rate. I really don't think you need to spend more than 15 minutes on first floor, even if you have 0 weapons and 0 HP. HP isn't even really that helpful until you get to the 4th floor.

    Considering that we clear every possible NM on a given path every time I'm not too concerned about shaving a few minutes off 1F.

    My group enters with 12 people every time (we usually have about 18 people wanting to go but I just put a hard cap at 12) so I find it worth spending a few extra minutes on 1F to get the group beefed up sufficiently.

    Typically we don't finsh off magic for everyone until 4F Soulflayers.

    That's pretty much it. Until we, or someone else, figures out exactly how Zhayolm 35s work we don't see a lot of value in worrying about the MB.

    Can anyone suggest a good way to do Deviate Bhoot with a small group?

    We generally go with mnkx2 thf whm brd rdm, and we have no problem with everything else. However, we've always gone the flayer route, and we wanna give bhoot a try. Any suggestions on maybe tweeking the setup and what to expect?

    If THF can go BLM, that might be better.

    It's a bit slower, but just have both MNKs alternate sitting on TP to Shoulder Tackle BlizzagaIII and Perdition. We don't bring stunners on our runs and have had no problems beating it this way.

    Would adding an extra blm do? I personally love having a thf around for drops. If blm doesn't work then I'm thinking about bringing a blu along just for the bhoot.

    Any ideas if killing the first floor rampart weakens the boss? This zone mirrors Bhaf so I'm thinking it might. Gonna try it our sunday run if it pops and nobody else tried it yet.

    Would be interesting to know just for the sake of knowing, but the boss is weak enough that it probably isn't necessary lol. TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if this boss gets soloed or duoed one day. As long as you keep shadows up and have +movement speed, even his TP moves don't do shit.

    Killed every NM, except Bhoot/Soulflayer, and Boss with 7 a couple days ago.

    Set up was:

    War/Nin
    Mnk/Nin
    THF
    WHM
    RDM
    BLM
    BRD

    Had 16 minutes when we got to the top and killed with about three minutes to spare, Bard didn't even have ability to SV either + our War died midway through the Boss fight lol. Just have THF SA/TA only, don't want any TP spam. Mortal Revolution can be a pain.

    We toyed around with the 2 repopped ramparts a bit today on 6th floor. It seems they just continue to call in Mandys and Sapplings without a limit. Guessed it might be for Status Cell farm. Next run ima try to convince ppl to let the room fill up with mandys till we all die!

    Wednesday we cleared the zone with MNK MNK THF BRD RDM WHM. I subbed /DRK on whm to stun and we killed the Flayer getting crown.
