The two times we popped the cactuar rampart, both times it was the same lamia that popped it.
All lamias on NW, all lamias on SW, the first one in the SE, and the first one on the NE.... 10 lamias total.

It does give an idea how they might count "NM" in zhayolm...but again, it would have been figured by now if it was that simple.
Unless each killed NM increases the chances that Madame will pop, and all successful pops to date were not the result of a 100% pop, but anywhere from a 40-100% drop depending on how many NMs were killed.Originally Posted by Kaylia
I got a new theory on the 6f TH's
on the 6th floor, in both those alcoves, theres a rampart that pops after a certain condition is met (what it is I dont know), and it constantly spits out mobs. Maybe those QQs pop as a result of it, just keep clearing the reinforcements that it spits out ?
We tried that once for at least 10 minutes with nothing. And the people who have popped the 6F THs did so without even touching those ramparts so I'd doubt that has anything to do with it. Probably just useful for getting some stat cells before the boss.
Well if the condition is related to ramparts and reinforcements, it's not totally far fetched to think that even if the treant ramparts didn't pop it, the other 2 might.Originally Posted by Suiram
Like perhaps a hidden "HQ" pop from one of the ramparts is the trigger? And if you kill all the pets and it doesnt pop, then SE has given you 2 more ramparts to farm to try and get the "hidden HQ" pet that pops it? Kind of like a weird Bhaflau..Originally Posted by NynJa
we don't kill ridiculously fast sometimesOriginally Posted by Wizerd
but still that's annoying to have to run over there to kill more mobs and waste time.
got 3 35s from bhaflau tonight anyway, we're set for a bit.
Look, its a theory, that holds as much ground as everything else that has been presented.Originally Posted by Suiram
I dont think its there for more cells, because the ones on the south side (Psycheflayer) pop Sapplings which drop VIT and MND cells. I dont think those ramparts are constantly pumping out mobs because people could use more VIT and MND cells.
I don't understand why you would think those Ramparts can pop the 2 QQTHs when the 2 QQTHs have clearly been popped after killing the floor pre-door openage. Unless you think I photoshopped my image, and so did Chokorun? I dunno, I thought I was a pretty decent source, and as of right now I'm the only non-Chokorun source (right?) for the pops.Originally Posted by NynJa

He recruited me! Mind games I tell you.Originally Posted by Neosutra
It's obvious those rampart are not always necessary to pop the Qiqirn , but they might still play their part in the puzzle.Originally Posted by Wizerd
But not how NynJa thinks. It's like he hasn't read any of the thread.Originally Posted by Kaylia

Is this a new group spawning 6F Qiqirn or someone from Chokoruns group?
Another popular JP blog, that's not Chokorun.Originally Posted by Gwynplaine

it looks like they posted how many mobs they killed on each floor too, but i cant read japanese so cant tell if they say what mobs they killed specifically. it does say they only killed one mob on second floor though it looks like
I can't tell either, and Babel on Altavista isn't helping at all. :/ Gonna try to make some decent assumptions based on just the numbers/floors..Originally Posted by recuperi
Edit:
They killed all of the west side, and 4 lamias from the east side, (3 BRDs and a RDM). 14 Skeletons, and 3 Ghosts, so the entire NE wing and 1 room of SE (which is what they say also). That's 1F anyway.
I just finished reading it.Originally Posted by recuperi

They also cleared every piece of Archaic Machinery in the zone.
Edit: He also said they were specifically aiming for the following:
a) kill all archaic machinery in the zone
b) clear the 6th floor in less than 7 minutes
c) when the 6th floor is clear, have more than 10 minutes remaining on the clock
