No idea how many nukes it took, but I do know the first blizzaga took off 10-12% off of 8 targets. I lagged like a motherfuck after the clusterfuck of -agas (Firaga especially lags my game) and next thing I know all of the gears were dead.

To reply to Wizerd, it was our first attempt at popping the 6f QQTHs and we really didn't want to dick around. We spent a lot of time on the first floor..close to 40 minutes just to make sure we got enough magics and as a result, we didn't have enough time for AC.

I know that a good policy of Salvage is "less is more" in most cases, but we (Avinor and I) don't like to let people run around useless because they can't cast magic because they aren't "needed".

Our primary focus of this run was to pop the QQTHs and not do Armored Chariot. We've done it plenty of times before and all have the useless 25s clogging our inventory, and figured that making sure we got the QQTHs which drop something actually useful was more important than getting more placebo 25s.

Fair enough then, about the 6F stuff! I'd like to try it also tbh. I usually only bring up to 2 BLMs, I wonder if it'd be enough. 10% per -aga III between 2 BLMs would require 5 each, so that might be pushing it, but with 1min Invincible and Manafont available, it should be doable.

Did your melees just ignore the gears and kill the Ramparts in the meantime?

But you wasted a perfectly good Fanatic's Drink which could be used for more fun things like having that BLM solo as much of AC as he can before he gets owned, or letting your MNK solo it before he gets owned or.. letting someone solo AC until it wears off and they get faceplanted.

Our group's planning on AC this Friday for some 25s that gonna rot for a while lol. Just doing it to have killed all 4 bosses mainly, although I'd rather spend more time trying to get 35s from this zone and the newly discovered Qiqirn Treasure Hunters.

Nothing wrong with killing AC for LVL25 pieces when you got the time instead of skipping it. Imagine you finally got some LVL35 from Zhayolm and have done 0 AC so far and then suddenly you need 20 kills to get the drop that you need. Duh.

20 kills to get a drop would be very unlucky. >_> Been like a year since salvage is out, I'm certain we can wait 1 more years to get the matching lv25 once it drop.

Did Chokorun specify which of the two QQTHs on 6F dropped the Macha's? Personally I don't think either drops Ares's, the rumour doesn't really have a base, since the only people who'd popped the QQs at the time of the rumour was Chokorun's group, and they did not post a screenshot of it (simply an email to that dude that couldn't speak English), whereas they DID post a screenshot of Macha's dropping.
