What chest\floor do you guys usually get fanatic's Drink?

We got one last night from 2F QQA I think it was.
Still working on getting the group up to speed on this zone, been improving alot run to run now. Got both QQA, Deviate Bhoot NM, 2 QQTH, Archaic Chariot, had about 5 minutes left upon porting up to 6F, could have cleared all mobs, but didn't have enough time in the zone lol, generally what are people doing on 1F? Last night we did 1 wing of qutrub 1 wing of skele with 8, worked well. Wasted some time on 2F TPing up for QQA, and maybe spending a little bit too long on 3FQQTH. Sent 2 BLM and myself as RDM to the NM after first room and 2nd room was in the process of being cleared. Time nuked and then doted, took it to like 51%, but just can't get melee to damage 3F quickly. Where do you have your melee wait for QQTH? In portal room or as far as you have cleared? Just seems to bolt right past melee without even stopping if we have em wait as far as we have cleared, most melee can't even get a chance to WS.

Our Fanatic's Drinks usually come from QQA 5F, Chariot 5F, or one of the Ramparts in the big room, but I've had one from 4F QQTH before as well as 2F QQA, but not too common. Seen Revitilizer from QQA 5F and Chariot 5F once each before also.

1F, now I generally clear most/all of NW wing, fighting right from the start. If we don't need weapons or head cell anymore by then I'll just pull the lamia out of the last room in the wing and leave the 3 Qutrubs. Then we head down to SW and kill the 4 Qutrubs, then the 2 lamia at the start of the wing. Then we'll start clearing towards SE or NE depending on the group and cell drops (Whether we need magic or abilities). After 10 Lamia are dead, if cells are sufficient, we will go back and kill the Rampart for a chance at TH4 on NMs, then port up as soon as it dies, ignoring the Sabotender usually unless we have the means to kill it (then we do so for the STR and CHR etc).

Note that the Skeletons in SE are the ones that drop STR and INT (STR off the DRKs, INT off the BLMs), and the NE ones drop AGI (off the THFs). Which cell does the DRG drop btw? I'm inclined to say they are STR also since I think I've seen STR drop up that way but I can't be too sure. It's also possible I've seen INT up that way and I just don't remember too well, therefore debunking my theory.

We usually TP on 2F (2 mobs) because we wasted it all killing Rampart on 1F before he spawns Sabotender. It's a nice chance to get an extra Ability/Magic cell (and if the Lamiae do Torrent then it means 3 mobs for TP instead of 2, no big deal). QQA dies so fast it's hardly a waste of time to get the TP.

3F recently we've been sending our melee and BRD to the porter with TP, as well as any BLMs, leaving the WHM or second RDM between third room and long room, and leaving 1 RDM at the start. Then we unload nukes/TP at the same vana'diel time to get it started, and chase it until just before we'd get aggro. Ever since doing this, the QQTH has always come back unless the target with hate isn't close (I have my members, even BLMs, follow me until the last possible moment, then wait for it to head back). When it's coming back we'll all run back into the room and then fight some more, BLMs will nuke etc. Most of the time it dies before it gets a chance to leave, but if not, that's what the DOTers (WHM and RDM) are for. If it's so low that it might die from DOT without claim, a RDM nuke should finish it. I usually also chase it with a Hermes Quencher if this is the case.

Sometimes we clear 3F if we need cells, it doesn't take more than 5-8min to do so.

Ditto. Nothing off chariot in roughly 20 runs either.

We'e been lucky. Recently started doing Arrapago again, and we've got 2 Hikazu legs and 1 Deimos's Body, all in 4 runs. We're gonna keep going to Arrapago for a while since it's finally started putting out.

As for not getting what you want, we're 0/20 on Usukane feet from L-A-C /sigh. Instead we've got about 15 Skadi body and probably 10 Skadi head.

Questions:

Last night we did a run with 7, we got 1 Abiltiy from the start chest, and that was the only abiltity the whole run... We killed every lamia in NW/SW and SE on 1F then ported, killed the 2 on 2F, killed all on 3F, not 1 abiltity the whole time. We didnt even wana port up because of lack of abiltity, however we still killed both QTH, QA and Big Soulflayer. Is this just insanely bad luck or what...? Ive never seen a run even close to as bad as this.

Second, Big Soulflayer NM: we're about 0/15 on it, sick of wasting time killing it, when we could be doing 6F QTHs etc, but no time cuz of killing this (and maybe lack of ability/magic..). Anyone got some stats on how often theyve seen the 35 morrigan head drop?

That's shitty luck if you killed every lamia and got 0 cell on first floor (there is 8 that drop I think?). The one on 2nd floor drop 100% of the time I believe, so that's 1 more JA. Bhoot/soulflayer on 3rd/4th floor have decent chance to drop, but usually won't when you still need. >_> On a bad day, you can use sneak/invi onm first floor to kill lamia faster before killing every quturb/bone otw.

I've been on a few run like this and there isn't much to do. Just kill what you can (should always be able to kill everything up to chariot with initial cell). 6th floor qiqirn and mega can only be done on better run.

Did a "duo" run earlier today and we killed every single lamia that could drop magic and didn't get a single on on the first floor. We were pressed for time, so we left and killed 1 brd on floor 2, finally got a magic. W/out a THF, the zone is hell... But this was already common knowledge.

Well thats not bad, I was seriously thinking it was about the same drop % as macha's coat, which we are like 3/40 on.

Negative. Not 1 of the 14 total or so lamia killed dropped a opacus, including the 2 on 2F. Only got like 3 spiss, 4 magic total as well. So yeah just the worst luck i guess, atleast we made due and killed most NMs.

Might just be me, but since last update cell drops seem to be alot better >_> lol. Tbh I don't remember seeing head cells from as many Qutrub as we do now prior to update.

For me its first floor stats cell on bone. I went maybe 15-20run without seeing any. Now, we get something like 4-8 every runs.

Any chance you have a thf? Arrapagos cell drops are horrid without one. There appears to be noticeable differences between a +TH thf and a regular one too. At least my group now gives thf weapon at start.

We bring TH4, always have, but we still give THF weapon 4th as always. We've been seeing a lot better cell drop rates in Arrapago since the end of August update, on Qutrubs and Skeletons. We're never short on HP anymore, always get our weapons early enough, and the only thing that doesn't always fill up on melees is the head cells. We constantly get 2-8 stat cells per run now also, only clearing 1 of the wings.

No Macha's coat from either QQTH, nothing from Bhoot, nothing from Chariot. Next run we can shave a minute or 2 off 3F probably and easily hit up all NMs and boss in same run.

Keep in mind that all NMs includes 6F QQTHs now. My JP group busted our old record of 25min left after clearing all 8 NMs and boss, this time leaving 29min left. :/
