Wow nice, how many people do you go with? lol We got lots of work to do.

My JP group goes with 7-9, usually 9 when we clear with that much time left (BLM,BLM,THF and MNK MNK WAR WHM RDM BRD).Originally Posted by Seditedi
However, the groups I lead (NA), aren't quite that efficient. Gear, and the general lack of being able to keep track of things has a huge affect on time. My NA group can clear all the NMs with 5-6min left maybe, but not enough time to kill boss. I'm still working on it. I still have to call cells even though it's quite close to the same people every time. In my JP group, there is never any cell calling, everyone knows exactly what to lot when, except some of the last people to get gear, whom usually just freelot it anyway because if one of them gets here, it's often the case that both/all will (ie: stratus cells on 6F of Arrapago, body/ranged cells same place, etc). We're getting better in my NA groups though, gradually.
Cleared top floor in 4 and a half minutes today with 9, was amazing how quickly stuff melted with everybody 2 houring the gears.
I guarantee update hasnt affected 1F drops, there is no way. Its just all random luck like everything else-Seditedi wrote:
Might just be me, but since last update cell drops seem to be alot better >_> lol. Tbh I don't remember seeing head cells from as many Qutrub as we do now prior to update.
For me its first floor stats cell on bone. I went maybe 15-20run without seeing any. Now, we get something like 4-8 every runs.
Not gonna argue that thf affects everything 2F+, ive just heard many rumours that 1F drop rate on arrapago, maybe every zone...is not affected by thf? Anyway, myself I dont believe in thf in salvage at all, we bring it if its there, if not meh. This is how you feel after you do 30+ arra runs with THF and see 1 macha's coat, then I go do 1 run with a new group of 6 people without any THF at all..and teh coat drops.Any chance you have a thf? Arrapagos cell drops are horrid without one. There appears to be noticeable differences between a +TH thf and a regular one too. At least my group now gives thf weapon at start..

lol...THF is quite important for 1F drop rate.

and then you do a run with a thief that drops 2 machas and deimos. My th is just that awesome.
Bring two thief and drops are even crazier.
Don't think anyone's mentioned but
5th floor ramparts seem to aggro during night time.
They've never aggrod me since using Silent Oils to pass them, even when the door looks open (which is when they usually aggrod me in the past).Originally Posted by Julian
All "Archaic" mobs = sneak aggr, except for gears which are special (which means yes, bosses don't aggro if you got sneak up).
not entirely correct, wafikOriginally Posted by Lordwafik

I thought Doors were nocturnal, but last Arrapago one aggroed us at 14:00~.
Their aggro behaviour may still be connected to day/night though.

Outside "special" version of them (like the zhayolm chariot that aggros nothing at all, not even magic), I haven't found ones that break this rule.
I remember people earlier in the thread saying how those ramparts would sometimes aggro them even with sneak/invis up, which is why I mentioned it <.<
My experiences are the following: Ramparts are either sight aggro or aggro nothing at all in Arrapago, if you do not aggro the gears in the room. If a single gear is pulled/aggrod w/e prior to passing the rampart, the rampart will attack you as you try to pass it.
During yesterday's run , we sneak through some rooms to go to the chariot directly. The rampart didn't aggro. We came back after killing the chariot and this time , the rampart aggroed . Most likely have something to do with gears hate or w/e.
I walked around it twice the other day, then figured I would run through it to see if it aggro, and it did aggro.
We send someone to open the door thereby popping the QQA while we clear first gear mobs en route to the Astrologer on 5th floor....on the way there and back he does not get rampart aggro, but one time we killed the astrologer just as he was passing a rampart and it did aggro...so the condition may be killing either of the NMs on that floor, either the Chariot or Astrologer...
This makes sense too because in times where he made it back before we killed the astrologer the rampart woudl aggro the group en-route to teh chariot if not sneaked/invised....
I've had it aggro me multiple times, randomly...sometimes on my way to the door, sometimes on the way back, sometimes not at all. My groups engaged QQA once before I got back, and ramparts have aggroed more often than once. So its not NM's on the floor.
I give up then on what makes it aggro lol....personally we kill the one blocking the way to the main room anyway for a shot at hands for Archaic Chariot for our TH4 thief....we also do this on first floor usually have 2 THF... if we canOriginally Posted by NynJa
Confirming that it only requires 10 lamia (and is guaranteed after 10 lamia) on 1F for the Rampart actually made doing the Rampart nice and easy. We do it just about every time now, so long as the THF has Assassin's Armlets (which is the case for most of our THFs).Originally Posted by Sidanoir
