Salvage - Arrapago Remnants - thread 2

I've had it aggro me multiple times, randomly...sometimes on my way to the door, sometimes on the way back, sometimes not at all. My groups engaged QQA once before I got back, and ramparts have aggroed more often than once. So its not NM's on the floor.

I give up then on what makes it aggro lol....personally we kill the one blocking the way to the main room anyway for a shot at hands for Archaic Chariot for our TH4 thief....we also do this on first floor usually have 2 THF... if we can

Confirming that it only requires 10 lamia (and is guaranteed after 10 lamia) on 1F for the Rampart actually made doing the Rampart nice and easy. We do it just about every time now, so long as the THF has Assassin's Armlets (which is the case for most of our THFs).

Yar we never have a problem on first floor getting rampart to pop, its just kinda buff lol, nice to have utsusemi for one tank >.> or lots of people with HP..
The if we can was if we can have 2 THFs we bring em sorry if not clear.

I just got ass armlets for my 63 THF -.-.....if we have 2 THFs typically both have TH4 >.>

Just figured id pop in to say that i never use oils when opening 5F door...sometimes the ramparts aggro, sometimes they don't. Never payed attention to the time of day. Just thought Id throw that in to say that they aren't always sneak aggressive.

Whats the point of 1F rampart anyway? Seem like a waste of time to go out of your way to kill it.

Does he really? I've killed him several times and never saw anything but stat cells, so we just stopped killing him and port up as soon as the Rampart dies.

actually i was wondering about that too... Ive never seen him drop them, only the rampart. I just remember the wiki used to say he does, but maybe the poster meant his rampart.

I think it's just the Rampart. Our new wiki will fix a lot of this because I'm gonna upkeep it even if others don't. I didn't care much about FFXIC's.

As was said chance at Radiatus for hands...go go TH4, Cactuar is stat cells only >.> they don't sleep and hit hard....those mobs are way buff for first floor lol

A question to people who have been killing 6F QQTHs since they were discovered: Has anyone gotten a Deimos's Cuirass drop yet off either of them? The rumour started when Arthars(I think?) posted that Chokorun's group answered an email of his, saying they got a Deimos's Cuirass, and he deemed it as "confirmed", but there've been absolutely no reports of it since then, and there has to have been a decent enough sample size to rule it out if it hasn't dropped yet.

Either way, I think we should conclude that it doesn't drop off the QQTHs until proven otherwise. The only reason I bring the issue up is because Genosync, who is filling in the Salvage information as a base before the wiki is opened, has 6F QQTH as a Deimos's Cuirass dropper. I don't think it should be listed at all, unless we find a drop.

So, anything?

I say remove it, since it has very little basis at this point.

Shouldn't be listed untill a screenshot is shown of them dropping deimos. Shouldn't even be disputed, because nobody's reported it aside from "I heared from a friend", and remember the last Paralyzing tale of what happened there?

Someone had taken the QQTH off Deimos's Cuirass (which was good), but Genosync edited it back in again. I guess he doesn't read this thread. Someone slap him or redirect him here please. :/ Wiki will be editable today anyway apparently, so it'll be easy to take it off again.

Everyone has kept it a secret so far, but I guess it's time to fill you in. The Qiqirn Treasure Hunters don't actually drop Macha's Coat.

We went 1/4 (mine), 2/16 (for 2 people who weren't there, so the guy who got this drop effectively went 1/1), and sitting at 2/20 atm.

You're not alone, we're pretty much in the same boat. We've gotten 2 Ares bodies though.

QQA always drops minimum of 1 preci and QQTH always drops a minimum of 1 Incus, right ?
