We did a run on Saturday, and it was working just fine. Can't vouch for post-maintenance though.

Did a 5man run, worked fine.
This happened to my group a couple weeks before the patch and we had everyone in the right position, so is not a post patch thing. Stupid rat never came back when it was @ 2%...i bet that one had some coats. >.>
We've done it a few times since the update, and it was the same as it's ever been for us.
Where on the north wall were you standing? My group used to stand in the NE corner and had QQTH deaggro once, I think because he was too far away rounding the corner in the big room when he was deciding whether to come back or deaggro. Since we switched to standing in the NW corner to wait for him he's always come back. Basically, I think if he gets more than 50' away so you lose target, there's a risk of him deaggroing.
Does anyone have a strategy for defeating the 2xQQTH on Floor six?
We've recently started incorporating 6F treasure hunter's into our strategy for arrapago and I've noticed that sometimes it takes an ungodly amount of time to kill both, since they keep running away. Was wondering if there are any strategies out there.
Thanks in advance.
Usually we chase one of them into the room it runs to and we kill it there. While that's happening I go pull the other one with Elegy, it runs away and then comes back to get me; I bring it to the rest of the group and we kill it. We usually don't have trouble with them running away again (whereas the 3F QQTH usually runs away a couple of times).

By the time you popped 6F QQ, melees should have most cells unclocked, well, important ones anyway, Body, hands, DEX, STR, etc... compared to the earlier floors.
Min + Mad > Mad X2 for this floor
As a mage, if i get a manaboost before 6F I always use it prior to port up, 1400+ mp really helps the DD focus more on killerating then on survival.
I'm looking to duo the two QQTH for a friend of mine who wants Morrigan Robe and maybe hit the Archaic Chariot afterwards if time. The chariot isn't that important, however. We have access to these jobs:
Me: WAR MNK RDM BLM BRD
Friend: BLM BRD
My alt: RDM BLM
I've never done Arrapago low man QQs before, so I had a few questions. Would it be worth it to have me go in MNK, my friend BLM, and my alt RDM and try to farm lamias for extra magics and such or is that not worth it given Arrapago's abyssmal drop rate w.out a THF? Would it be better for me to go in either BLM or RDM, my friend go in BLM, and just forget about the alt?
With THD MNK RDM I've done this: 2 QQA 2 QQTH flayer chariot, with 5 min left, and we spent like 50 min on 1F cause shit wouldn't drop. very doable.
I remember reading on one of these threads about people specificly doing the first floor Rampart in Arrapago for a chance at an early hands cell for THF TH4. What I didn't read about was the fact that the rampart alone hits for a stupid amount (200+?) and if it does reinforcements you get a nonsleepable Cactaur who hits for even worse and whose needleshot does around 1k damage (no it wasn't 1k needles).
Does anyone really do first floor rampart every run just for a chance at a hands cell (its not even 100%)? First of all it looks like a lot of work just to get that because it pops from a random lamia(?) and even then if you dont have a /nin or /sam able to tank it you will die so fast its not even funny.
It's not random, it pops after you kill a certain number of lamia. I don't remember what that number is; we never touch that rampart. The cactuar can be kited, or the rampart can be slept, so it's not completely unreasonable to make that rampart the last target on the floor.
its not random. It always pops after we kill the same lamia all the time. And we always kill the same mobs. We kill all lamias in the first wing, second wing. and it always pops when we kill the lamia in the second skelettion room, in the 3rd wing. While I wouldn't recommend figting the cactuar, the door is very doable ( we give first SJ to a monk) and we always do it when we have TH4. A rdm can just gravity the cactus when it pops, and it will deaggro fast.
So, after the 10th lamia.
