At least when you exp, you can also make CP/IS, so losing exp in normal areas is fine.
Failure should always hurt.

You don't actually have to earn any EXP or limit points from a kill to obtain CP/IS. Even with everything capped, you will still get CP/IS at the normal rate.

The patch was Tuesday,
The patch changed the exp loss thing.

Not that I'm against losing exp... but saying getting rid of exp loss in Limbus is turning the game into WoW is a dumb thing to say. What turns the game into "WoW", and by that, I actually mean easy, is this trend of zerging the shit out of everything being the best way to kill stuff, be it HNM or exp monsters. If you are upset about the game becoming less "FFXI"-like, you should be having a heart attack over the fact Skillchains aren't used much anymore by many people.

ToAU Mission BCNMs were confirmed in the update though. Although the update mentioned CoP battlefields, everyone assumes they were the CoP Mission battlefields. If it's really true no more exp loss in Limbus, I think it's hot, personally.

If this is true then the OP fails for starting this thread by claiming that its "confirmed" no xp loss in limbus.

As far as people saying "LOLZ if i want ez game me play WOW lol ho ho ho" your stupid. Endgame encounters in WoW Are much more complicated and difficult than FFXI. However generally when I wasnt in raiding in WoW I was pvping, and when pvping got boring, or when I had the shitty spec for pvp, I lost my appreciation for it. If you want to compare WoW and FFXI in a more accurate way, you should base it more on the fact FFXI has more varying degrees of gameplay in general. In WoW its pretty much lvl to 70, farm some instances/heroics for awhile, then try to raid. In between you can pvp. Also little things in WoW quickly got old to me, like ! over peoples heads. Really I think WoW is a respectable MMO, even though I prefer to play FFXI over it. I dont think its necessary to dis on a game or make such a big deal about it, especially for the people who either have had no experience with it or who played it to around lvl 20 or so and say its somehow too easy, you just really dont know what your talking about.

When it comes down to it, losing xp in limbus was never that big of a deal to me because limbus has had one of the easiest gameplay concepts in general. Looking at the posts the only reason anyone was particularly happy with the change was because of one of the bosses. If they did take xp loss from limbus, great, its not going to ruin the game or make anyone quit. I guess a change like this just goes to prove you cant make everyone happy, someone will always come out and whine about any change.
