    Re: Perdu Blade questions.

The beastmen items, at least on Lakshmi, aren't jacked up in price yet. Might be 1-2k higher than normal, and are selling by the minute, but it's not bad. I just ranked up, only spending 3k on a troll pauldron. I doubt it'll ever reach 100k because that's just stupid. Then again...

Take comfort in knowing that only a handful of people are even ready for a rank up, since assault still isn't "common" for the casual folks. Happy that merc rank rewards are getting better though. Good incentive.

And personally I'm sitting on 170k IS (2/3 came from besieged, haha... I hate meriting) so if you want to rack up points fast, attend them!

1k IS + 1k xp from an hour-long besieged lagfest, or 2k IS + 20k xp from an hour-long merit party, such a difficult choice...

    Senj/Fudo
    Base TP = 5 + (((227 * 0.65) - 180) / 120) = 4.72958
    Then with Store TP: 4.7 * 1.13 = 5.311 = 5.3

    Senj/Perdu
    Base TP = 5 + (((208.5 * 0.65) - 180) / 120) = 4.629
    Then with Store TP: 4.6 * 1.13 = 5.198 = 5.1 So close to 5.2 /cry

And assuming full return Blade Jins, to figure out the number of hits to 100, I do (98/Store TP value)-2 and then round up. I swap out my Suppa for WS as well, so that changes the TP gain on those two hits. But either way, it works out to 17 hits Senj/Fudo, and 18 hits Senj/Perdu. So a delay of 2508.35 for S/F, and 2439.45 for S/P. What blows is how close S/P ends up being (again assuming I'm doing all this correctly), without Suppa, S/P's TP gain is 5.3 like S/F. So Blade Jin returns 12.6 TP. 17 hits of S/P is 86.7 TP, 86.7+12.6 = 99.3 T_T

This leaves me with two courses of action:
    - Always get hit once between WSs.
    - Always double attack on Blade Jins.
Requisite pointing out of 95% Acc cap, WAR sub for DA, and Brutal Earring skewing the real-world results.

I'd be willing to bet that in practice, you'll end up at 94% or 100%+ much more often than you end up at 99%.

I'm already there with Senj/Unji and no Usukane feet (yet), and I almost never actually end up at 99% TP like I "should" during a real merit party.

Don't get me wrong, besieged frustrates me to no end. But the level 8s (which are probably going on tonight) give like 1700 IS/exp for a win from what LS mates were sayin. And just from an IS perspective, you have to pay 300 for increased food duration and teleportation if you're going out to merit. Also given that I'll probably be doing a pick-up groups since my favorite bard is out this week; this is probably the first time I'll be interested in doing besieged since it came out.

    Re: Perdu Blade questions.

It's not like standing around waiting for besieged to happen. It's taking the opportunity to join when there's nothing to do and it's about to happen. How else am I suppose to cap all my weapons on WAR or my enhancing/healing on WHM? Plus, personally I find it fun. I also don't get 20k/hr parties. Thus, for me it's 1.8k exp/1.8k IS for 1 hour of fun and skillups, or 10k exp/1k IS for 1 hour of mindless zombie merit grinding. Different strokes for different folks.

    On a semi-related note.

Perdu Voulge is +5acc +10atk by my test, like the katana. Shame it's only +10atk, but it's still the highest damage g.axe behind relic. It also looks exactly like the lower level leucos voulge.

Edit - lvl 8 besieged give 1.8k to 2.1k, depending on if you kill the boss or not.

    Re: Perdu Blade questions.

lv8 beseiged gives 0IS and 0XP here on asura.

edit: that is, if we don't lose to level 6-7 first.

    Horror Voulge=Leucous Voulge=Perdu Voulge

    T.T

    Red+Green+Gold+Silver like the Scythe dammit!

Least the Perdu Blade will be nice to see on the hip of every nin between here and kingdom come in half a year.

We lost our first Besieged in a while, after it was over I checked Al Zahbi, was still about half full from AFK/Low levels...

I actually ran from the other side of the globe to get there for the level 8, got there to see 705 People...

*hopes for a "Would you like to Participate in Besieged? (Yes/No) If not you will be removed from the Battlefield in 1:00... 59... 58..."*

    Re: Perdu Blade questions.

Before this is derailed I'm copying and pasting what I posted in advance section.

    http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...tterthanSP.jpg
These are my parse results after about 170 mobs. Redline has U+U and I am using Senj+ Perdu. we parsed about the same exact total damage except he had higher ws total.

Higher WS total was my concern with senj + perdu to begin with because I thought that Senj + Perdus total ws dmg would outweight the delay loss. This parse proves that since U+U ws dmg came so close that Unji + Perdu wouldn't vary too much from U +U meaning higher total ws dmg faster tp results.

Also I personally consider my choice of WS gear trumping his which is why im concerned that his ws dmg is doing more total than mine.

Both 8/8 katana 5/5 str he's elf though and i'm hume

Anyways to sum it all up Unji+Perdu (Unji main hand) should be better than Senj + Perdu. (BUY UNJIS WHILE THEY DROP IN PRICE GOGOGO)

edit: Also i'm Carus not the war

No, but i can tell you that if you play "who swings more often" against u/u you're probably going to lose. A properly geared nin will actually get more juice out of senj.

The increments on improving my nin gear is very minimal at this point so you really have no idea wtf you're talking about. Aside from that it has no arguement disproving the parse because our gear near identical except for maybe +5 acc he had on me (for tp) nothing ground breaking. And aside from that my WS gear was much better. Get your head out of your ass and stop making retarded comments.

    edit: Added parenthesis

Is bolded saying that you think Senj is better than u/u on a well geared NIN as a general statement, or are you only talking about in the context of this player/thread/camp.

I'm saying that LinkTheDeme is playing retarded if he's focusing on a swingspeed build using senj.

Because thief mobs don't bring down your accuracy average by alot?

edit: and nin mobs are decently evasive

Thief mob, singular, it doesn't bring your accuracy down that much, especially as 1 of the ~10 mobs that you kill there.

Oh and your edit can be summarized as "yes I am an idiot who fights in ninja chainmail when my accuracy is far from cap and my attack is retardedly low"
