NIN af request question

Well i recently upgraded my nin tekko to +1 version and i'd like to get nq back to store other piece on npc. I've never requested any af piece so i don't know well how it works however i read some info saying i got to request weapons, af1 and all piece since i can't get only 1 and even if i could get only 1 i prolly would have to finish quest before i could start another af hands quest on another job. Now my question is, is it possible for me to request af katanas, af pants, start hands quest, get tekko and store all by npc w/o get other pieces(ie feet,body,head)? I think this would be possible since af hands quest is marked done once u get hands piece so prolly won't have trouble in the future with other possible artifact quests.

This would save me much time to request all other piece so any help is appreciated, thanks

There's an NPC in the lobby of the magic shop in lower jeuno that will reset a completed set of AF armor quests.

Since you're talking about the AF hands, you would want to basically do the following:

1) Reset your ninja AF quests.

2) Request the level 40 katanas. If you have your first set of level 40 katanas in your possession you'll need to drop them to finish requesting them. The game won't let you finish the quest without giving you the rare/ex item.

3) Start your level 52 quest, don't worry about finishing it at all

4) Goto upper jeuno weapon's shop and start the AF hands quest (assuming you don't have another job's AF hands quest started).

5) Re-quest your AF hands (coffer -> jeuno -> darkspark -> jeuno).

That leaves you in a possition where you can then request any other piece of ninja AF except the body as you get more upgrades. To request the body you first have to request the legs (and drop your existing legs if you didn't upgrade those before the AF body).
