Run out to Gamestop, look in the bargain bin, pick out Socom 1 for $3 and enjoy the best shooter made for the ps2. Socom: CA was a travesty.

I've played all of them and I will say I enjoyed SOCOM I the best. SOCOM IV does look promising though.

You actually don't need the front grip on the IW, it makes your aim go down some and ruins headshots. It has that built in grip, me and my clan were testing that out and came to this conclusion.

Since they added the extended clips the HK5 rocks for speed, but IW with small suppressor is my fav for run and gun. My grief with SOCOM when I stopped playing was every match both sides had motherfuckers using M87's and just quicksniping and doing other bullshit that isn't kosher imo.

How a motherfucker can run around with a heavy ass sniper rifle and while jumping hit a target 400 yds away in the dark. That shit got me frustrated to no end.

I heard they made a bunch of fixes lately though, did they fix the M87ELR quicksnipes?

Yeah you can quicksnipe still and its annoying as fuck. I can usually kill them while sniping but its alot harder. IW is ok but I love the STG - 77 with front grip and supressor, also playing around witha high scope on IW is alot of fun as well.

552 with front grip and rifle laser. STG with front grip and laser/suppressor.

I was pretty amazing at Socom 3 before I quit to play gears.
