Windower resolution

When i play in Windower, I have the resolution set to about 800x600. However, yesterday I decided to bump it up to 1024x768(in the windower file, not FF Config), just to see what it looks like. When I did this, the game simply went to fullscreen mode. Is there a way to raise the resolution of my game using windower, without sacrificing the actual window?

Do a search for resolution, there's 100 threads about this. But to answer your question go into your registry and change your forground and background values.

My monitor res is 1680x1050, but I don't want to play fullscreen so i set my game res to 1290x960 or something(can't remember of top of my head), but i set my background(game res inside of windower) to 3360x2100 which is 2 times my monitor resolution.

so my registry keys look like this

0001 - 1290(decimal)
0002 - 960
0003 - 3360
0004 - 2100

No prob.

1680x1050 for my monitor resolution isn't too bad, I'm used to it. Whatever you set your reg values to, you want to make sure your background in the windower is larger then the window resolution itself. Most of us usually double our monitor res to get a crispy screen.

Just a word of advice too, write down your original values in case you mess something up or your computer doesn't like what you change so you can always change back.
