Ugh, so Sunday I went to the store to buy some groceries. I bought a bunch of lunch meat...ham...turkey, to make sandwiches. On Sunday after I put the groceries away, I went to make a ham sandwich. Sure enough, can't find the ham. So I make a turkey sandwich instead.
Fast forward to this morning, I make another turkey sandwich to take to work. Lo' and behold, I open the fridge, and the ham is there. I'm like "wtf." So I make it a ham and turkey sandwich.
So I get to work, and I'm like damn, how did the ham just reappear? So I email my roommate at work to ask if he found the ham somewhere. The kid is very unreliable when it comes to emailing me back in a timely fashion, but I wanted to hear from him before I ate any of this ham.
Then I got super hungry and devoured the sandwich. I should have probably pulled the ham off if I was so suspicious about it. But when I saw the bag of ham in the fridge this morning it didn't look bloated at all.
About an hour after eating the sandwich I get this reply: "Yeah on the floor by the beer cans. I threw it back in yesterday when I came home."
I was feeling fine until I read this email. I'm not sure if I feel this way because I ate ham that was unrefridgerated for 30 hours, or if this is a mental reaction. I'm hoping because the ham was salty that this acted as a preservative, but I have a pretty bad headache now and my left hand is aching.
