Forum Suggestion

I don't really know where to put this, but could you guys (site admins) add a link at the bottom of the page that allows you to click a link to return you to the same board you are currently on? I scroll all the way to the bottom reading posts, then have to scroll all the way back up to clink the type of link I want. Something like what appears at the top of the page would be great:

Where we could click any of the board locations an go to that portion but at the bottom as well as the top.


Sure, I could hit back or right click and hit back, but that doesn't refresh the page either. Just a suggestion. Don't jump me!

eh, unless they ninja'd it as I read this post, I seem to have that at the bottom. It's prolly just the skin you are using.

The Acid Tech Tiger skin (the one I am currently using) does have it.

But really, tabbed browsing FTW.

Remember a while back when BG found that really nifty forum toy that gave FFXI items a rollover display that showed the item and its stats, but never implemented it?

You could also just hit "Home" and then click your thing.

But yeah...when Mozilla first came out with tabbed browsing, I was sure I'd hate it. Then I used it to read Slashdot a few times, and I was hooked for life. Now if I don't have it, I go crazy*. I just go down the list of forums, middle-click to open them each in a tab, flip to the last tab, then open every interesting thread in a tab and mow them down. Rinse, repeat. Once you get back to the tab with the forum in question, or the main list of forums, just refresh that.

(I even have multiple browser windows, each with multiple tabs, windowshaded in a stack on each other, but I am a gigantic nerd.)

* Like when the people installing streetlamps at my apartment complex dug through my cable, and I got to go to the library to sign up for 45 minutes of PC use at a time, with my old buddy Internet Explorer. Online jobs have to have a downside, I guess.

Thanks for the tips guys. Had no clue there were that many skins available. Just thought it was the new forum layout. As for tabbed browsing, I have 5 tabs open right now, but I am just too lazy to hit F5 I guess. Thanks again.
