Who read World War Hulk part 3? You know what, not feeling bad for the Hulk anymore. "My planet blew up killing my wife, but instead of cutting myself I'm going to cut everyone else eventhough I know they had nothing to do with it. Emo."
Anyway, who do you think was behind blowing up Hulk's planet? I'm guessing Skrulls.
P.S. Could someone please slap Sentry around, maybe throw him into the Sun? He's really getting on my nerves.
I havent read 3 yet, but on the msn comics stuff, marvel events, its been down lately... anyway last I checked they had all the lates issues in order or events that you SHOULD read them.
Anyway one of those issues before WWH2 explains that the spaceship that they put hulk in, after years and years became unstable and poof... hulk gets mad.
slight necro![]()
world war hulk: x-men finished up today, wasnt disappointed at all, the fights were a little more drawn out than others from the event (black bolt, ares, avengers) and seemed pretty believable, loved how he dealt with juggy. i would say these three issues have been the best WWH arc so far, could have used some Iceman though.
Slight necro. The final issue came out today. Make like comic book nerds on the internet always do and bash the ending. That is, if you want to.
It was... kinda random.
Liked the first half of the issue, then the Hulk just randomly goes "I R GONNA DESTROY TEH PLANET! EVEN THOUGH I SAID I WOULDN'T AND STUFF!" Not sure what the inspirational speech from the Hulk was all about. Seemed like he was talking to Sentry, but why the hell should we focus some plot/character development of the Sentry during World War HULK?! And is Bruce dead now? Gotta check out the new Hulk series now to see what's up.
I like the DBZ aspect of the final fight if anything else. It was going sort of downhill after the third issue. It certainly was disappointing in the way that Not a single of one of his targets died, even if they got proven innocent, which I disliked even more... and kind of creates a plothole with the whole Ghost Rider thing. It would have been nice if the Sentry had died or Banner... btw, Banner didn't die. Marvel does not know how to end a mini-series... no I take that back, Annihilation had an incredible ending.
epic fail, and the kid thing, more epic fail.
Read Planet Hulk again. There's obvious foreshadowing that Miek was the one who caused the shuttle to explode. Even though they are douche bags, Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic wouldn't choose to blow up an entire planet like that.
fail

Still leagues above Amazon Attacks!
The ending was a little lame, but really, thats hard to avoid. Regardless of how Pak ended this arc, he would have had a mob of angry Hulk fans. Still, the whole Planet Hulk+WWH was awesome. So what if the ending was a little quick and lame, the story of getting there was awesome. Greg Pak is awesome. We also got some get tie in stories from Dan Slott and Christos Gage.
It wasnt all bad and I hate how everyone just focus' on the bad and ignores all the great parts. WWH was much better than Civil War, but I dispite most people admitting that, they still bash WWH just as hard.
This is why I stopped going to the CBR forums a few months ago. I just couldnt stand how no one actually talked about comics. People just talked about how much they hated X writer doing this and how Y Artist sucks.
No, Amazon Attacks was just horrible from start to finish. WWH was awesome a the start but the ending ruined all of the promise that it had.Originally Posted by BRP
It wasn't all bad, but the ending was lame. (Just like House of M and Civil War.) The first 4 issues of WWH were awesome, but Marvel seems to have a thing where they have a phenomenal idea to start a series, but it is so big that they can not think of a way to end it well, so they just end it and try to tie it into some new lame ongoing series.Originally Posted by Yarrsarusrex
I don't think House of M had as bad an ending as Civil War or WWH. It did lead into Messiah Complex and other interesting arcs
Actually I think the 3rd and 4th issues of WWH were pretty bad and the final issue was pretty okay. The art was pretty terrible after being used to Planet Hulk.
