Do lightning spells actually work for you? They burn through MP for me but they never seem to land unless I position the camera at a funny angle, then 50% of them seem to connect. I haven't bothered to upgrade anything, all my skills are still at level 1 and I just cycle through a few of them on mobs. The second Ice spell is really handy for the slowdown effect though, makes not getting hit way easier. And yes, mobs that do ranged attacks suck, if I spam fast enough (which can be kinda hard sometimes as my laptop sucks and the game is laggy as hell) they usually don't get attacks off, but I have to pop a potion after almost every hit or else I die. Mobs popping on my like to kill me almost instantly too, I might just give in and start buffing my health stat.

Lightning works fine for me, probably not so well for you since you have to be a lot closer to make the best use of it. Fire has raw damage/possible dot, ice slows/freezes, lightning pierces(and I swear there is a chance to one hit KO things but i've only seen it happen like 5 times, but everytime it's really awesome since everything that it hit got KO'd when it I saw it happen) as far as I understand. But since the lightning pierces they make it so it goes in a straight line, doesn't auto hit and for some reason it has a lot of pathing issues and won't do any damage despite the spell hitting the mob if you try to shoot it over certain things <_< But it works out anyways since it's silly to not start off with an ice spell for the slow to begin with and they come right at you anyways.

Unless you're planning to do some crazy tri-elemental thing later on you may as well pump up at least one of your elements. A few skills cap at lvl 5, the rest cap at lvl 10 so it's not like you're really gimping yourself by not hording them. Oh and do you cycle through all of the spells? I usually just spam ice wave, chain lightning, ice bolt, and then ice wave is ready to cast again. Although I'm wondering if I should add the lower level ones back to my template thing to spam on ranged attackers since they always get off 2-3 shots on me.

Nice hat btw mine only has 22 hp and 2 hp regen on it but I've not bothered to try shopping for things and I can never seem to get an item I can actually use from drops... /sigh. And holy crap you're broke lol

Think it's 15 and you can pick that blue bird thing or a tarantula, I have no idea where/how you get it though. Just ask in shout in game and you'll usually get an answer.

I gave in and stuck 4 into Health, just gonna buff it from now on even though I doubt I'll ever see "high levels"

I just dinged 25 not too long ago. 14 STR (needed it for a bow I'm using) 90 DEX 26 Heal and lol5 Spirit. >.> I'm a Hunter. I don't need too much MP. My best skill, Strike Shot at level 4 and my Bow Mastery at level 5.. I do about 1730 damage with it, noncrit. Have yet to crit though. Hunter is totally awesome.

Wish I used fire spells, but still pretty good I think . Too bad leveling is slow going. Aoe spamming stuff in Heiharp is funny but sooo hard to find an empty area to train the mobs in peace.

And I want to do 1730 damage in one shot my highest damage spell is ~1.3k

i'm in the process of leveling to 50 to make a guild

whether it has the BG name is up to the council (<3 akiyama for getting the ball rolling on that ), but i have the money for both the guild and the guild emblem.

hopefully i'll be level 50 by the end of today, at the most tomorrow and we'll have an answer by then about the guild name


As for where to go, you could goto norak cave and kill stuff there. more specifically the crude nightmares on the southeast side of the map (crude's cause they are nonagressive) and you can level off of stuff in norak till at least 29 (i stayed there till then, damn good ratio of killspeed/exp) on yat/yat bows

ok, i'm gonna need some help with the guild emblem.

IF we are allowed to use the bg name, we need to decide on a guild emblem, something that appeals to everyone.

you can go here http://www.bengl.com/2moons/emblem/index.php and mess with the options they give you, i have made one that i think fits pretty well with the bluegarter name but it should be a group decision in the end.

anyone who wants too can post what they feel would be fitting for the name bluegarter, this of course if we are allowed use of the name.
