Anyone know if there is an exp penalty for level gaps? Or can I do something silly like install the game on my laptop and power level a lvl1 character super fast? Would like to try out the other classes but grinding through the low level again not exactly a woohoo prospect.

As for the guild thing, it's a shame but there's already a HelloKitty guild ! Ascendence sounds a little too generic imo but it's your money >_> Just don't use the word Enigma in the title, I don't know what it is about that word but I've seen 27(yes, I counted!) people with that word in their name so far. I don't get the appeal.

yea i thought it was kinda generic too, it's true it is my money but i'd like to include everyone in a big descision like the name and emblem.

(i figure the whole christian thing would come up about that emblem, lol. it just looks cool to me, it has zero religious overtones[cause i'm not really a christian] ) it has more to do with the fact the guild would be a lawful good type in that i would make it a rule that there is NO pking for the sake of pking, only defending an experience spot would it be ok only 1v1 where it can be helped, and only after a verbal warning as long as you've been in that exp spot first. the angel wings represent the good qualities of the guild, and the fire represent the fury one would face should you cross us in the wrong way

I haven't decided which character to use yet, i've done 17 levels of hunter, 16 levels of segnale and right now i'm at about 9 on summoner (wish i had more time to play). I like the hunter, and the segnale is ok. But i like the twinblades of the summoner.

Haven't tride the big blue dude, knight or magician yet, wanna see which one i like best before I start leveling one up all the way. Which one are you guys using full time?

I might go with the hunter full time as i like being DD, but their defense is horrible, links are tough and they don't get much for AoE.

The summoner sounds cool cause I can build tank build and get the debuffing summon as a support dude. And I will probably solo most of the time so that'll help.

What do you gotta do to get in the guild? level req or anything like that?

Well, I don't know how hunters fair when they get multiple mobs on them solo but it's awesome every time I pt with a hunter. They spam knockback moves so fast it's nuts. My mage is jealous I like mage and all but Hunter is probably the job that I "envy" the most I suppose. I see more hunters soloing than I do summoners, but I've not tried either class so I don't know if that means anything.

I have this whole week with the fiance gone and nothing to do so I wanna play this most nights this week.

I'll probably keep going with the hunter as it's my highest now and has real good solo potential and is useful down the road.

Yeah, I really don't get it. I understand that ganking poor noobs or something is a bad idea, but whats wrong with attacking someone out of the blue if they are a decent match for you? Part of the reason PvP games can be fun is that there are many areas which are never truly safe...

if you want to challenge someone like you said misterbob then duel them, it's the honorable way to go about it. Again, if someone attacks you then it's ok to defend yourself, and if a group ganks you then you tell the guild and we could come to your aid.

I guess I'm not interested then, I don't get the point of PvP games without random PvP, the game was practically designed around it.
Honestly, this game lacks depth without the PvP element.

PvP is usually the only fun thing in free grinding MMO's. That's just silly to not allow it in the guild imo.
